This place is very cute. Very nice servers. However the kitchen is extremely slow. They say it is because they make everything from scratch - but whatever the reason, plan for a very long wait after you order. It is also very loud inside. Outside is the better option. They do have plenty of TVs of there’s a game on. We had chips and salsa, guacamole, skinny margaritas, quesadillas, a chicken tikka bowl, and ribeye tacos. The chips, salsa, guacamole, quesadillas, and margaritas were awesome. The chicken tikka bowl was fine … but not great. The ribeye tacos were DEFINITELY not worth the $36 we paid for them. The meat was the chewiest, toughest ribeye I’ve ever had. We couldn’t chew it at all. We sent it back to the kitchen to cook it more, hoping that would help. It didn’t. It was plainly put just a bad cut of meat. The chimichurri sauce had excellent flavor but there wasn’t enough of it.

First time from LA visiting this restaurant and we are in love. Revia our server was the friendliest and most professional ever. We got the best drinks( Cadillac margarita and michelada ) was perfectly crafted. Fajitas and carne asada yum yum can’t wait to come back and visit TQLAS. PS I have my Best friend pet with me he is a 2 year old shiba inu and he got the best friendly iced water and treats!!! Came in this evening wanting Mexican food. First you were out of pork for the burrito so I chose another kind of pork. Then I ordered both green and red sauce but you were out of the green sauce. The red sauce was nothing like I've ever seen. It tasted like marinara that belonged on pasta. To make matters worse was having peas and carrots in the refried beans? I googled this and couldn't find any region in Mexico that does this. I have never seen anything like it in my life at any Mexican restaurant that I've ever eaten at. And I don't know how, when I'm told that you had two street fairs on the weekend, that you run out of food when you know you have the farmers market every single Sunday. My waitperson, Victoria, was so nice and I talked to Tony, the manager, about these issues. I hope you take them to heart because I don't know quite frankly how you get the rating that you do with so many mishaps. So disappointing!

Our party of 4 ordered 3 orders of Taco plates and one order of Chile Rellenos. When the waiter came with our taco plates, he said that just now, when he picked up our order, the chef told him they don't have Chile rellenos tonight. So, we had 3 people eating and one person waiting for an alternate choice. First, the servers should be told at the beginning of the dinner shift (we sat down at 5pm) what wasn't available. Then, the meal shouldn't be served until all orders are ready to be served. The server was very apologetic and kind, and it was definitely not his fault. The food was fine, but there is a need for better communication between the kitchen and the waitstaff.

Chicken mole was tough and dry (and $27 for a small piece of over cooked chicken and rice and beans). Husband ordered Chile verde plate, and he was still hungry after because of the small portion of chicken (and a side of rice and beans). My daughter's quesadilla from the kids menu ended up being the most delicious meal of the three- it came with pico de gallo, sour cream and guac, and rice and beans. Service was slow but friendly.
Enjoyed the meal and friendly service. Even though had inside reservation had to wait in slow line behind people without reservations to get seated then they tried to seat me outside . They need to organize front desk to better accommodate those who made reservations. Noisy so hard to have a conversation.

Let me be more specific: 1) 2 fish tacos -- one piece was about 1.5"x2", the other was 1.5"x2.5" (very small for the price), the refried beans were cold, really cold, 2) Quinoa chicken salad -- soggy quinoa, 3) tacos al pastor -- like cubed pork chop with a couple of pieces of pineapple. I mean there's no excuse for such lame Mexican food here! You could buy meat from Tampico and cook it. We had the salad, 3 x the 2 taco lunch plate, an iced tea and two margaritas (a spicy & a skinny). The tab was over $150. That's like $40 each with only 2 drinks! Will not be going back for a 3rd try.
