It is sad for me to leave this message, but, I must be honest. My family and I have truly loved going to this restaurant for several years now. We were there a couple of months ago, and did notice some not so good changes... This is the honest to God's truth; it's like they raised their prices again, overnight. Returned a couple of days ago and our chef really had no personality. They really don't put on much of a show for you anymore. They really do not engage with their customers. The manager/Asian lady is not a very personable person. She does not seem happy. Which is really sad. Anyways back to our dinner ...For the 3 of us our total was about $160. NOT INCLUDING THE TIP!!!!Not worth it at all. The filet mignon is delicious and the shrimp are pretty good however, it's not worth the price that they charge now. They now charge an additional $4.99 plus tax for the fried rice and the fried rice is pretty plain they don't add much egg to it. They also charged us for hot tea which is ridiculous. Every other place does not charge you for hot tea. It's simply hot water on a cup with one teabag inside of it. They charged us an additional $4.00 plus tax for hot tea. WOW! We ordered edamame which is nothing fancy and they now charge almost $9.00 dollars for that. Needless to say we spent almost $200 for the 3 of us. The service was so very poor. Very depressing atmosphere. We will no longer be returning. SAVE YOUR MONEY-

Fried rice is a MUST TRY. The sushi is amazing and the steak is delicious and the show when they cook it is super cool.

The rainbow rolls were really not good. The crab was overloaded with mayo and the rice and fish tasted old and spoiled. I was afraid to finish more than one piece. Not the best.

Don't order lunch togo. Definitely left over rice, taste like raw rice. They should never give rice from last night to customer

Food tasted good. But portions were VERY small for that price and there was a 15 min delay from when seated to chef cooking during lunch

Went here after work I was craving some sushi there was no one so i decided to sit at the sushi bar. First off the waiter was really respectful and attendant and the sushi cook was also very social and nice. He kept asking if everything was ok or if we needed anything. I will definitely come here again service was 10/10 for me. Place was clean as well

Hibachi chef was awesome. My wife & I came for lunch. Ordered the New York steak & shrimp, yakisoba noodles, and teriyaki chicken. Everything was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back.

Great family-owned-and-operated restaurant. They are super attentive and the food is amazing. I had the rib-eye steak which was super tasty and beef teriyaki and chicken teriyaki all tasty.

It's ok. Need a little atmosphere uplift. Not quite as good as previous. Not bad. Be aware. Mandatory 18% tip on any party of 5 and over unless an infant. Kids are included in the 5. Drinks are 5$ for a soda.

Inconsistent Service . Blantant Racism.*1st time I visited I was told my sushi rolls were too difficult to make. It was a salmon roll with avocado I walked out and didn't eat.*2nd time I visited I ordered 1 salmon with avocado roll and it was $12.22. I asked for my roll, the hostess asked the chef if they could serve me and then quoted me a price. Not anything out of the ordinary but she acted skittish , suspicious of me, and rushed me out the restaurant as soon as my roll was ready. It was tense and weird because she watched me the entire time like they do in the convince store. Everytime I moved she moved from her hostess station like I was going to do something negative.*3rd time I visited i asked for the same sushi roll with a tuna roll. Same routine, I placed my order with the hostess but this time she had the chef come out. He looked at me, they talked to each other in their native language in front of me and then quoted me 16.50 each per roll. Wait didn't I pay 12 the day before? Same thing as before she acted skittish, suspicious of me, and rushed me out the restaurant as soon as my roll was ready. It was tense and weird because she watched me the entire time like they do in the convince store. Everytime I moved she moved from her hostess station like I was going to do something negative.Blatant over charging for a basic roll. If they didn't look at me with such shock for just coming to the restaurant I wouldn't think twice.I know covert racism when I experience it. It was clear they didn't want me there and made sure to let me know not to come back .Rolls had a weird coffee taste anyways.Got to Shota Sushi instead on Foothill. Rolls priced at 8.00 per roll without the racism.
