My parents were visiting from out of town and I brought them here for lunch. They have very extensive menu that has something for everybody. Great service and atmosphere. Will be coming back!

The Cooperage is a breath of fresh air in the dining scene, offering a culinary experience that satisfies every craving. The salads are nothing short of phenomenal, bursting with fresh ingredients and innovative flavors that leave a lasting impression. But that's just the beginning – the hamburgers and tacos are equally impressive, each bite a symphony of taste and texture.Beyond the exquisite food, The Cooperage boasts stunning high ceilings that lend an air of grandeur to the space. The retractable doors seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor dining, providing the perfect setting for any occasion. Whether you're enjoying a leisurely meal with friends or celebrating a special event, The Cooperage delivers an unforgettable dining experience that will keep you coming back for more.

Service was excellent. I went there with my mom. We wanted to try out the new location as we were big fans of the Cooperage when it was in Lafayette. No change to the menu, so I ordered my favorite the Chicken Pot Pie. When it arrived it was just like they emptied a half bag of the vegetable medley into the pan and topped it with a burnt biscuit. No cream, no juices just a bunch of crappy looking vegetables. The wait staff agreed that it looked paltry and when they called him on it, the chef agreed. In the end they made it right and remade it. The second try was a good chicken pot pie. It’s a pricey place, so they should have gotten it right the first time. Ambience was a little lacking too.

We brunched here on Sunday & enjoyed their Short Rib Hash. It was sooooo good. Blood Orange Mimosas were fire too. I'm planning on returning to enjoy once more, before my 1 month vegetarian challenge begins!

It's OK, not great, like all Americans grills, same Applebee's, just more fancy...bunch of butter and different fats on everything... from Mac to steaks and salmon... tuna tartar was great though

For me, when writing restaurant reviews, the categories of food, service, and atmosphere need to be juxtaposed with expectations and value (what you get for your money). While the food, service, and atmosphere for the cooperage is above average, it falls a little short of other restaurants that charge this type of money. For a seeming average of $30 a plate for lunch, the food would be three stars. At $15 a plate I would have given the food a four star eating. Just the other day the chicken was a tad dry,On the other hand, service is a strong five stars, as the staff there is warm, welcoming, and professional. My last two lunches there were for business, and the staff was respectful to give us our space to complete our conversation.Atmosphere as well is bright, with a good crowd at lunch, nice tall ceilings, and well appointed decor.

Coming here was a great experience from the moment we walked in. We had a few drinks and some appetizers. We were treated with over the top customer service and were frequently checked on.

Parked in the garage behind Zara and walked over. Truffle parm fries were great. Parm was sliced in thin sheets which was interesting. Cesar salad is $15 for romaine leaves on a plate. Jumbo shrimp came without lemon. Whole back of menu lists alcohol. No list of regular beverages. Waiter was great! The dining room looks great. Women’s bathroom has cool dusty ball lights. Bathroom restock metro under the sink looks bad. Even my local sbux has a cabinet for their bathroom restock. If the small details matter to anyone. $56 later and I don’t see myself coming back anytime soon. Think I only ever went to the old location in Lafayette twice.

Came for dinner. Had the fried chicken sandwich at it was great. Another in our party had the French dip, and they loved it. Sat in the bar area in a very comfortable round booth. Service.... wasn't great. It appeared only the bar tender was serving all the cocktail tables and maning the bar for the restaurant. Took way too long to be greeted and forever to get his attention to take our order. We contemplated moving to the dining room. Once food came out, we were frequently checked on by a busser and manager. I'd come back as the food was great. I just hope the service staffing improves.

Had an amazing experience ✨️ we came in a few weeks ago with a large party and we were well taken care of by the staff! Patient and attentive, not to mention the cocktails were fantastic and the food delicious! The decor and ambiance is unique and inviting. Recommending to everyone and looking forward to returning. A nice addition to downtown Walnut Creek ☺️

Service was very good, food was nothing to brag about. It's a nice looking restaurant but it is extremely loud, not just people talking but music blaring right over your head.

Service was phenomenal and food was delicious. I had the steak salad and it was cooked perfectly. Our waiter was great. The restaurant was accommodating to my diet restrictions as well. I would definitely go again.

I've visited the previous location in Lafayette on several occasions and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and the food. The Walnut Creek location is different. The quality and preparation of the food is considerably downgraded and disappointing. Lacking finesse, flavor and quality. We ordered their special of the day Prime Rib, and the delivery was so disappointing that we had to send the first dish back, and when we received the second plate it was underwhelming. We just decided to let it be, as it was evident that the quality was not going to improve. Great location, ambiance is still above average, but the food quality is a major disappointment. We chose Cooperage restaurant to celebrate our 11 year anniversary. We had so many choices; its shameful.
