Always good. Service was amazing even though the restaurant was packed. I had been to their previous much smaller location and wondered if they could possibly fill this much larger location. No problem there!!! Can't wait to dine there again.

4 of us enjoyed the Brussel sprouts and potato appetizers and they were fantastic. Moved on to pork chops, salmon, and chicken. All were spectacular. The hideout keeps getting better and better. Already looking forward to dining there again!

Your remodel of past is very nice; I would suggest more tables if possible outside. But, the acoustics are terrible and way too loud for a pleasant lunch. Three young loudmouths seated back of us were told 3-4 times to be more quiet; they all three talked loud at the same time....typical of today's young crowd. The architect involved in the remodel must be very young and not understand acoustics in dining spaces. I would be very selective of whom I invite next and request a different seating.

We dined outside because we brought our dog who settled and enjoyed the attention he received. On the covered patio, we were sheltered from the breeze and insulated from the louder interior dining spaces...it was delightful! If you prefer the hubbub of an active bar, you may dine on that side indoors, or if you prefer music while dining, then the other half of the interior is perfect for you. We enjoyed the comparative quiet of dining outdoors yet under cover. The food is always splendid, and the menu has the tried-and-true favorites like honey fried chicken with sautéed kale and mashed potatoes. It's a treat to go there and we will definitely return.

My friend and I had lunch at the Hideout last week and it was awesome! I made a reservation for 11:30 and I'm happy I did that as the place is very popular. We had a beautiful table outside and enjoyed a delicious lunch and glass of sparkling wine. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. Can't wait to try so many items on their menu. And the ambience is fun and inviting!

Arrived for our 7:15 reservation and were seated on the patio as planned. The server greeted us and took our drinks order while we reviewed the menu. We ordered the clams and mussels - which was served with two dry toasted pieces of white bread. The steak was a generous portion and my friend enjoyed it. The unique charred caesar salad needed more dressing which they brought for us. On diner found it to be a bit difficult to cut. Best part of the meal was the bread pudding, but before we had finished our drinks and after we'd paid the bill the person bussing the table started to remove things from in front of us...this was a rude ending to a rocky experience. Cannot reccomend.

My girlfriends and I celebrated my birthday at The Hideout. Love the new location! The food, drinks, and service were better than expected. Music was fun and energetic but not so loud we couldn't hear each other. The vibe is so good. We already have plans to go back!

Why did they have to put loud pounding unpleasant background music when the guests are already screaming to be heard by their fellow guests? It was too loud and too noisy making dinner very unpleasant.

Both of us ordered the pork chop, which came drenched in a salty blueberry inedible sauce. We sent them back and asked for sauce on the side. Then pork chop and charred. Cauliflower was excellent. We ordered the grilled caesar salad and they brought the Lafayette salad instead. We kept it and it was delicious. Staff was very accommodating.

In celebration of my son's birthday our party of five dined at The Hideout on a Wednesday evening. I was able to easily make reservations online earlier in the afternoon for 7:30 p.m. Everyone in our group asked for a different item, and everyone thought their dish was wonderful. All was cooked to our tastes, veggies were fresh, meat was tender, and seasoned just right. Our server was courteous and found that nice balance of taking our orders and checking on us at just the right frequency. The restaurant is located in a nice square of shops, and there is plenty of metered parking (free after 7 p.m.). The cost was about what you'd expect for a good meal, drinks, and some dessert, about $375 after 20% tip.

I had a working lunch on Monday, and totally impressed with The Hideout in Lafayette. The place was packed on a Monday! Bartenders are superb and the best negroni I have ever had! The food was fantastic also! Congratulations Blair Bishop sommelier

Best steak salad ever. Tender steak cooked as ordered and a Greek salad combo that was exceptional. HUGE helping and a great mix of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, lettuce, avocado, and more. Excellent Bloody Mary, and the service was quick, prompt, and non-intrusive but always there. Highly recommend this place.NOTE: They're relatively new at this location; so it's hard to find because their one and only sign is really hard to see from the street.Parking: There are parking slots just about everywhere (streets, lots). But they are all metered.

Love the new location but very loud inside. Need more servers, had to wave them down when we needed something. But the ones that helped us were very good. Food was tasty as before except the kale salad was missing a couple of ingredients and smaller quantity than a couple of weeks ago.

Love Love Love The Hideout! Their new location is larger yet cozy. The food continues to be incredibly delicious and the staff is always friendly. JB, the owner, is a huge community supporter, super creative, and all-around great guy. Cheers!

74th birthday dinner with grown-up kids and spouses. We have all eaten here before but didn't realize how noisy the room would be. Hard to hear each other. Hopefully something can be done to lower the reverberation volume. Food was good, as expected and prompt. The appetizers were yummy, brussels sprouts, hummus and the little potatoes. Main courses varied to how they satisfied the palate, but all were generous in size and had tasty sides.
