The best thing I have ever ordered here is the Mexican Cobb Salad with CHIPOTLE RANCH. It is the BEST huge salad you could ever eat. I love the fried onions they add and the fresh guac and lettuce and pico de gallo and the price!! Omg I can’t say enough how much I love this salad and the dressing is just out of this world.

Stopped by here to escape the over priced options near Laguna Beach proper. Was a little hard to find, being tucked into a shopping area. Chips and salsa were great, with a warm roasted salsa roja. It happened to be a Tuesday, so we took advantage of Taco Tuesday and ordered pollo and carnitas tacos. Also had the Mexican Cobb salad. Food was really solid and I thought reasonably priced for a beach town. Nice margarita and beer options too.We sat outside but the road noise proved to be too much so we moved inside. All the seating is elevated, which isn't a favorite of mine. It's counter service so you need to get up to re-order, which isn't a big deal, but you may feel ignored if you don't know this. Would definitely recommend and would try again when in town.

Always my go to spot for lunch while at work, always consistent food and quality as well. As authentic as you can get, rich salsas, flavorful proteins and delicious sides as well. Definitely worth checking out if your are going to the beach or in the area, you won’t regret it.

Upon walking in we were greeted very professionally, We explained it was our first time here and we needed a minute to look over the menu. The gentleman behind the counter said he would be happy to answer any questions we had. I'm not an earthy salad person, So I went with the carna asada salad with romaine lettuce, my wife got Mexican Cobb salad & we also had the Asada bowl. The restaurant was empty and we visited on a Saturday night (1/13/24), We were shocked especially by the reviews, but after a few minutes, our food arrived fresh and hot. We had ordered our dressings on the side and my wife got some other dressing also. After tasting my wife's dressings I was all in and was about to have them bring me one or both of them, But then my wife tasted mine and said yours is good you may want to try first, So I did and OMG IT WAS FIRE ? sweet savory maybe a raspberry vinegarette? Now after a while, we had seen people coming in to pick up their orders and then a few other couples arrived. My only problem was that we weren't checked up on especially after the small glass of water (so that's why I took off a star for that (google review), but the gentleman did come over after some time and ask if we needed a refill. Now let me get back to the food. We stopped eating our salads & hopped on the asada bowl, it was extremely delicious. My salad was FIRE, I tell you and not many places get this type of review or rating from me because the food is ehh. Either they are afraid to put seasoning on it or it comes out lukewarm or something but after eating this I wanted another (being greedy) Oh and let me mention we were eating good l, trust me I so wanted the burrito or hard tacos. Nonetheless, I left with my stomach full & angry at the same time. All the way home all I kept thinking about was that carna asada salad & that dressing ????? (I'm writing this review 1/14/24 @10:53 am FYI) I'm sitting contemplating if I want to drive 1hr & 14 minutes to get another one ? ??? you have no idea how delicious everything was. OMG so my wife had noticed that this couple sat at the counter and they two ordered salads with dressings on them and sent them back because they didn't like the dressings ?‍??? we were floored and couldn't understand why they didn't just ask for it on the side but whatever. We will be back as long as you guys keep serving up fire food you have customers for life !!!!!!!!We parked in the back lot and walked down the stairs. It was a well-lit area.Parking: Well lit and there is an elevator to take down to the restaurantsKid-friendliness: Kids who love a good Mexican meal will have no issues here.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a walkup window and tables are accessible.

Excellent service and delicious food. They give you a good portion too. We ordered a Crispy Carnitas plate, Soup (wasn't in the menu), and Short rib taco. Carne asada meat was perfectly cooked crispy on the outside but it's not overcooked. But it needed some heat. The staff are friendly and attentive. I highly recommendParking: Lots of parking by the grocery store.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly establishment.

We used to love ordering take out from here but the past two visit have been disappointing. When we arrived to pick up our take out, no one greeted us and we waited 10+ minutes just to pick up food that was already prepared. The food was missing items that were normally included. We couldn’t help but notice the fried calamari they sell was coming from frozen premade. We will have to switch back to La Sierra in the future…

This restaurant is definitely lacking in hospitality at the ordering window but also in taste and quality of their food. We ordered two combination plates of one short rib taco and chile relleno, one house margarita and a beer. We paid $73, (not including 20% tip) which we thought was way overpriced especially for what we received. We asked for chips and salsa, but they told us that this would cost extra(!). Our waiter was a nice young man which we were thankful for. We were also quite surprised to learn that Asada is also owned by Reunion Kitchen, which makes perfect sense to us as we're not fans of this restaurant either, very average and pricey. We never mind paying for a pricey menu if the food is of great quality and a nice ambience, but both these restaurants are in major need of improvement on all levels.
