We arrived at 5:30 for our reservations and fortunately found a place to park in the back. Parking could be an issue though so plan ahead with your time. Our experience with the food and service was fabulous. The French onion soup is a must. My husband had the rack of lamb and I had one of the fish specials. Both excellent in taste and presentation. Our service, (wish I could remember her name) was wonderful. Knowledgeable, more than accommodating and very nice. Pricing was very reasonable for fine dining. We will for sure return for another date night.

We were all definitely losing our mind when the hostess walked by in her vintage dittos! Dittos at Dizz's! loved the purple haze cocktail made as well by Dominic! A blast from the past. No less than five tables that had women seated at them were commenting on the dittos at Dizz' As Is.

Growing up in Laguna I have been to Dizz’s for dinner and special occasions since the 80’s. Everything from the cocktails to the food to the ambiance is fantastic! I have known Dominic Pitz since we’re in high school and official Vic Beach (literally across the highway from Dizz’s) bums. This last weekend my family went in to celebrate my mom’s birthday. I wish I could have been there but I live on the opposite side of the country. Dominic came out of the kitchen to greet my family and after dinner brought out strawberry cake for the b-day celebration! Dom, you and Dizz’s rock, can’t wait to come in when I’m back in town!If you’re curious about Dizz’s and haven’t been, go, you’ll be happy you did!

If you like 1960's kitsch you will love Dizz's. The menu has many old time favorites as well some interesting modern dishes. Drinks could be exotic if you are not from a beach community and they were very reasonable. Portion sizes were large for drinks and food. Overall a fun evening.

Always outstanding dishes. Plenty of food I never leave wanting more. Nice guitar music was an added bonus. Had the Duck and Linguini with huge clams all very tasty. Highly recommended. A locals gem set in 1940's

Heritage restaurant with warm vibe. Rack of lamb was outstanding, but the other meals were average. Service fabulous!

Outstanding from beginning to end. And an amazing value — you definitely get your money’s worth here. Atmosphere is charming with dim golden light, beautiful drapes and paintings.

To: Open Table, I already did a review for N.Y.'s eve. Why a second Request? Was not too crowded when arrived at 7 for reservation but did get busier as evening progressed. My rack of lamb was the best ever. Husband had a chicken dish, marsala I think. The starters of house made liver pate & French bread is always great along with an aperitif. No charge for these. The Belgian strawberry cream pie, a grandfather recipe is to die for..

This is a neighborhood favorite. The quintessential kitsch Laguna Beach cottage decor and vibe is endearing. There is nothing else like it. Your choice of indoor or outdoor seating (ocean view). The menu is extensive and classic Julia Childs dishes cooked to perfection (French & Italian). Cute little bar inside and a tiki bar outside. Friendly owner and staff really care about your dining satisfaction and happiness. I have never brought a guest there who did not love it and want to go back again.

Little neighborhood gem with an old school vibe but horrible food. Every dish was drenched in sauce and nothing tasted fresh. The presentation of our food wasn't appealing either. I wish it was just my dish- but everyone said they could barely get through their meal. I guess you come here for a cheap meal. Or maybe just a drink at the bar. The Patio seemed Cute. Our server was pleasant. The table cloths on the table were stained and ripped. I wish i could say i would come back- but i can't unfortunately

We ordered quite a few appetizers and dinner for 3. We asked waiter to hold off a little on placing entree orders but the main plates, 2 were fish and one was surf & turf, were obviously left under the hot lamp for a bit before serving because they were all overcooked. But everything else was so good that it didn't matter that much. Would go back again, and not place entire order at once.

I've always enjoyed Dizz's As Is. It's an icon in Laguna Beach. They start off with pate and an aperitif. The pâté did not seem as good as it used to be. Our main entrees were delicious. They offer traditional dishes you seldom have the opportunity to enjoy at other restaurants. The menu is extensive so you will definitely find something you like. Maybe favorite is the cornish hen. I like the cozy feeling of the restaurant. Parking is a challenge.

We really enjoyed this place. Truly unique and one of a kind. It's interior has a collection of various tablecloths and mismatched plates. Truly funky and fun in a house converted to restaurant. We were greeted with a pate and aperitif as we sat down, followed by a yummy crusty bread. The French onion soup was amazing. So was the crab bisque. The guys loved the steak- everyone loved their meal. It's family owned, and goes back many years.
