Everything was perfect! Oak is a beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance and super fun vibe. We had a reservation for 5:45 for our party of 6 and they were already full so definitely need to make one. The cocktails are awesome and they have a wonderful selection of wines. We started off with the ajillo shrimp...omg that sauce is so delicious which came w/ bread for dipping, sweet and spicy ribs w/ honey sambal glaze were soo good, and the calamari over the slaw is the best. For entrees, we had the Ribeye, pork chop, Lagunian wedge style salad, Baja style fish tacos with sea bass, mushroom burger and shared a broakie for dessert which was ridiculously good...everything was amazing! Dillion was our server. He and his team were great as they were very attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. We felt like family. We love oak...they're the best!
They accommodated a variety of dietary needs in our party: allergies, gluten free, vegan, while serving outrageous chicken and waffles to my husband. The food was all delicious! Our server was the best! He doted upon us and sat us at the best table in the house. Plus, we were surprised by the underground validated parking onsite - a real plus in the impossible-to-park Laguna Beach! I will definitely eat here again!
This was our first time at Oak; prompted by a mention in the recent Costco magazine, of all places! We're new to the area and made a reservation for 6 p.m. Glad we went early. By 7 p.m., every table was taken and the noise level was high. Our meals were excellent. I had the burger and fries along with a glass of wine. My husband had the deconstructed salad (as he's on a diet) and loved it. He also mentioned the bar was well stocked, and he was able to order a bourbon that he likes. Javier was our server, who was attentive and nice. We'll be back!

Had very nice bday brunch here . Sat on balcony overlook Laguna town and ocean . Great vibes. Food was delicious, great brioche French toast , cappuccino is great. Our waitress Eileen was nice, professional and accommodating. Got nice surprise bday desert at end ! - We will definitely return.

The burger and ahi tacos were delicious! The view and atmosphere are wonderful. The only issue was the desert. We got the donuts and ice cream. They were just alright. When the waiter asked how they were we said so so and he just kind of shrugged and said oh. No apologies or offer to give us something different.

In decline. My 3rd or 4th visit to Oak in Laguna and it is definitely falling off in all areas. From waiting 5-7 minutes to be seated at one of many open tables (with no one else waiting), to the food missing the described elements, to finding something in the food that wasn't on the menu (I will not elaborate). Really disappointed.

First time there and absolutely loved the food!! Service was fabulous! Honestly felt like it was a high end experience although I would have liked a little more intimate seating options.

Charcuterie board was great . Alfredo pasta was good. Tuna tacos lacked flavor. Put salt on the tables . Food needs more seasoning and it took forever to flag someone down and ask for salt . Could use more wait staff.
We enjoy this place. My bloody Mary was a meal in itself! Delish. The food was so good we ordered multiple shareables including an entree. The espresso panna gotta was pure heaven. Definitely recommend!

BUT Water down drinks , I asked for my food to be well done and there was pink in it which means it's not well done RIGHT... dessert taste like a child made it ... but the view is nice and the people are friendly ... had to cancle studio tonight because my stomach is so upset ? ?

Special dinner with a good friend and her husband celebrating their marriage. The Hostess put special celebration decorations on the table! So sweet. The server, Javier, was Fantastic!! He let us talk and take our time. Drinks excellent - especially the Oak Old Fashion. Calamari very good, Salmon very good, Duck special good, Fettuccine needed extra sauce , good once we got extra sauce. Fun celebratory dessert with sparkler! Overall good evening. I usual go the Oak for lunch - dinner was good but for some reason not as outstanding as the several lunches I have enjoyed at Oak.
