Hands down the best sushi in town. We took our kids sat at the bar and had an amazing experience. The sushi chef is very knowledgeable and the service and quality is top notch. I would give them a 10 stars if I could. Dont go anywhere else. We will be back!

It was a great time visiting this place again! The sushi quality is top notch and the rolls are great sized with lots of flavor. It’s a creative restaurant and they base their creativity around their rolls, with dozens to try!!

We ate outside on the original patio and it was lovely. The inside was too dark for my tastes but the sushi was fantastic. We had a Maui roll (mild style) Linzy roll, yellow tail, tai snapper and the sashimi appetizer and it was all heaven!

Took the doggy and hubby out for dinner and have been craving sushi but am always disappointed. Sushi not fresh and over priced! Well not at Sushi Laguna!! The sashimi was fresh and a nice assortment and I had them make my Kelly roll which is soft shell crab combined with spicy tuna hand roll> Should be on every menu, the crunchy with the tuna and veges, DELICIOUS!! Sat under the patio and they had heat lamps above every table and my hubby could watch the Laker game thru the window!! EVERYONE was happy!! Lakers won :) Have the Nigori unfiltered (taste like coconut not nasty vodka)

One of my favorite sushi bars. Fresh and tasty every time I visit.

Edit: wanted to try it again, got here and they are shut down for Super Bowl sunday. Their hours say they are open. I've had enough.I used to love this place, but wow.. I will never step foot in here again. The food was absolutely terrible. The soft shell crab was terribly over fried. The server had 8 orders of salmon come out when we ordered 4...my God. Don't even mention the wait time. The only saving grace is the blue crab hand rolls.

First look walking to the the restaurant no one was inside eating should have took that to note in my head. The food was very bland and terrible texture. The service was very unpleasing- they charged me $19 for a spicy shrimp with mango roll and $16 for a regular spicy tuna roll- they also charged a 16% gratuity but we were taking out not dining in. So overall the food was very bland and cost us almost $100 for 4 rolls- 0/10 wouldn’t recommend

Meh! Thanks how I felt after having lunch here. I was excited to have some sushi for lunch but there are limited options at that time of day, so we settled and decided to give this place a try even though many previous reviewers said the service was not so great. We arrived shortly after opening and were quickly seated at the sushi bar. The first issue we encountered was trying to pull up the menu via QR code. We both waited and waited and waited but nothing would come up. Then the server recommended using their wifi, but we got the same results. After several minutes (and no offer of a paper menu), one of our phones finally was able to access the menu. Sadly it is not designed for browsing on a phone, but we made do. Strike 1!! We asked for recommendations for rolls and were told that the Maui Roll is very popular. We ordered one of those along with a Makenna Roll and a Celeb Roll. And despite the fact that there was only one other couple in the restaurant, the rolls took what seemed like forever to come out. Strike 2! The Makenna Roll contained spicy tuna, avocado and cucumber, and was topped with albacore, jalapeño sauce and scallions. The Celeb Roll was very similar with the same ingredients inside and albacore on top, but also included crispy onions and a spicy sauce. Both were decent but nothing to "write home about". The highly recommended Maui Roll was a disappointment. It contained panic battered onion and avocado, topped with seared cajun tuna, jalapeño sauce, scallions and sriracha. First off, the chunks of onion in the middle were so large that the pieces fell apart the moment you touched it and the cajun spices on the seared tuna was cloying and overpowering. Together with the two sauces, it was a mash up of flavors that I'd rather not experience again.....EVER!! Strike 3!! Thankfully the service was good, though I'm not happy with the recommended roll nor with the length of time it took to get the other rolls. Personally I will not be rushing back here, but I'm sure their odd selection of americanized sushi mashups will appeal to someone.
