Best Chinese food in town. Owner is super friendly and calls you by name. Everything's good from Orange Chicken to Szechuan Beef and the Sweet n Sour Chicken is like we used to get it when I was little. Bomb.

Right across the street from the DMV, we were hungry for Chinese food after my son passed his driving exam. This place is located in a small strip center and serves great Northern Chinese comfort food. Manager Leo was friendly and knew many of his customers by name. I was impressed with the overall authenticity, quality and prices. Lunch specials are only $9.99, including rice and soup (none of the pics) We will be returning, and I'm a Chinese food snob!

This could have been a 5 star, but there were some issues with flavor. The Mongolian beef was on point. The salt and pepper squid lacked flavor, you couldn't taste the salt and pepper part, the hot and sour soup was more sweet and a little sour, and the orange chicken was amazing. Thats 2 out 4 with a home run and the other 2 out of for good, but not great to get a 5 star. The manager, Leo, was great. Really nice guy and personable.

The food at this Chinese restaurant is fantastic! I got my order to go so I can't speak for the full service, but the food I got was served with a smile and a great attitude. The ambiance is nice for the strip mall location it's in but also seemed really authentic. Check it out!

The Best True Chinese Food on have been too in a long time reminds me of my home town of Mexicali Baja California if you know about Chinese food this is the place where Leo is amazing with his hospitality and serves one the best true Chinese food here in Orange County in general trust I have been far and wide for this kind of food and I will definitely be back for more of the Kung Pao Shrimp and that House Special Fried Rice I was bummed I didn't get to try there famous BAO Buns but next time he promised me lol

The simple ambiance shouldn't turn you away. Unlike other nearby restaurants, the servers are friendly and attentive. The menu is quite large and the food we ordered was delicious. I had honey walnut shrimp with a wonderful lemon sauce. Can't wait to try other menu offerings!

Hai Master Kitchen comes through again! Besides having the Best, pan fried pork and chive dumplings they also serve the very best braised tofu with vegetables, I also ordered a side of steamed rice and when combined created a very satisfying meal. The owner and host Leo prioritizes customer satisfaction and values his customers and realizes the importance of a returning clientele fan base. Everything I have ordered has been delicious and cooked to perfection. Living in Laguna Woods amongst a senior population, word travels fast and the word is, for great tasting, healthy, fresh food, Hai Master Kitchen is the place to stop at. Another vivid example of being scammed by fake reviews. Went there with my friends. The Chinese guy is all over the place; he never stops talking, and made us so uncomfortable. We ordered some Baos and their most popular food but ended up disappointed. Do not order their Baos or dumplings; they are not fresh at all. This guy told me it is freshly made, such a joke. The Bao skin is so dry and hard to chew; how dare you say this is FRESH! Anyway, I want my money and time back. Avoid this restaurant!

This place has such delicious food. It was soooo fresh. I get so nervous about Chinese places because the food can be hit or miss but we will ABSOLUTELY be returning. Thanks again Leo!!

Leo greeted us like family. Our first time there and ordered the walnut shrimp and green beans. Also ordered an appetizer of potstickers. All terrific! The potstickers were enormous and stuffed with homemade ingredients.
