You may find it interesting that I give the restaurant a three rating When I rate the food, the service and the atmosphere, the highest rating. My wife and I had two entrees (one of which was a pizza), Two drinks two appetizers and a dessert and we got out of there with tip and tax for $250! If you've got the money to burn on excellent food, small portions and great views and atmosphere, this is your place!

We treated our friends to dinner, hoping for good conversation and well-prepared food; instead, my halibut was overcooked and dry, my friend's white fish filet was not appropriately deboned, and the famed pizza wasn't as expected. The only dish we appreciated was the pasta ravioli; it was decent but overpriced; the prices were all high, especially considering the food quality. The worst part of the evening wasn't the food, though it was the loud music. We came for dinner and conversation but could not hear each other because the ‘background’ music was played at such a high decibel every patron had to raise their voice, making the restaurant extremely loud. My tablemates and I spent the night repeating ourselves to be heard, which made it impossible to engage in any meaningful conversation. If we wanted to go to a nightclub with loud music, we would have done so; instead, we came to restaurant for conversation. The whole experience was terrible and disappointing and truthfully embarrassing to me because I hadn't entertained my friends in years, and the night was a debacle.

Food Quality: ?️?????* Our journey through the culinary wonders of Bottega Angelina started with the delightful Focaccia al Rosmarino, setting the stage for what turned out to be a gastronomic adventure. The Spaghetti Chitarra al Pomodoro, with its perfectly cooked homemade pasta and flavorful sauce, showcased the chef's expertise. The Diavola Pizza, featuring spicy salami, was excellent, and the Cacio e Pepe Tagliatelle, despite a slightly small portion, completely stole the show and became my personal favorite. Each dish was a symphony of taste, leaving us yearning for more.Service: ✨?️?????* The attentive staff at Bottega Angelina, combined with the comforting warmth of outdoor heaters, transformed our dining experience into a true celebration. Their guidance through the menu added an extra layer of delight, making our culinary journey even more memorable.Ambiance: ??️?????* Seated outdoors, surrounded by the glow of heaters and a beautiful view, Bottega Angelina's cozy yet vibrant atmosphere enhanced our dining pleasure. The scenic backdrop added a touch of enchantment to our meal, making it a beautiful day to remember.Portion Size: ??????* While the culinary creations were exquisite, it's worth noting that portions are slightly small for the price, earning a 4/5 in this regard. The flavors are exceptional, but a bit more generosity would enhance the overall dining experience.Overall Experience: ??????Our culinary journey at Bottega Angelina, amidst the comforting warmth of outdoor heaters on a beautiful day with a breathtaking view, was nothing short of magical. From the Focaccia al Rosmarino to the heavenly Tiramisu that concluded our meal, each moment was a celebration of taste and ambiance.Recommendation: Absolutely, Bottega Angelina in Laguna Niguel is a must-visit! The diverse menu, attentive service, and enchanting outdoor atmosphere with a beautiful view make it a gem in the culinary landscape. Don't miss the chance to indulge in an unforgettable dining adventure. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was my first time at Bottega Angelina and we will be back again. My friend and I sat at the bar. The bartenders were so much fun and made the best martini's. We described what we wanted and they nailed them. We watched sunset, had a pizza and the salmon tartar. The food was excellent. The view from the restaurant was stunning and we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset. Perfect evening.
