We love the freshness and variety in the food here! My kids are always wanting to come here and as a mom I love that they love the grilled fish. The service is always prompt and friendly. They also do catering and picking up the trays of food was a big hit for my kid's bday.

Case closed. I woke up thinking about the best ahi I've had in a long time. The seared ahi rivals any upscale Laguna Beach or restaurant in Newport. It's Smokey and fresh. They put a light sauce which tastes a little like sesame on it. My son and I had never been there so we didn't know what to expect. The menu is tough to get through so my advice is to look at the menus board with pictures. We also tried the mahi beach wrap and the ahi poke. I had just returned from Hawaii so I was craving island food. This more then hit the spot. Even the fries are excellent.

This is for Laguna Niguel location. Went there today and place was empty. It was open but all the workers were eating in a table and told us to come back in 30 minutes. I guess they didn't want our business. We like the San Clemente location so much more.

So, we have been here before, many times. Our favorite is the Saimin soup. Nalu's is "hands down", the best! We have been here even durning the pandemic and tried other meals which where great. ( I gave them high marks on Yelp) something is amiss with either this location or the whole chain. Based on me reading O.C. health care agency report. We were hungry last Friday afternoon and stopped by the one in Laguna. My husband ordered the " Stir fry" and I ordered the Mahi mahi with a side of mac. We were so disappointed. My husband said he had a difficult time eating his dish because it was so "f**** hot". My fish was old and dry, the mac was tasteless. The true icing on the cake was in the middle of our meal, I pointed out to my husband all the staff at Nalu's ordered out to "The Habit " and they just delivered right in front of us. "Here's your sign."

2 orders, a kids meal with literally 1 broccoli. This place asks if you want "extra sauce" only to charge you because it's extra then doesn't out ANY on the food. This is the driest chicken ever and will never come back here again
I love this place. The prices are great for a lot of food, I always get the teriyaki chicken with brown rice, macaroni salad and slaw which is all delicious, the service is friendly, we always pick up and take it home but the ambiance is quite and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some delicious food.

Visited Nalu's with my son a couple weeks ago and would highly recommend. I had been to another location before but this was my first time to the one in Laguna Niguel. Located in shopping center with multiple stores and other restaurants, Nalu's has a bit dated surfer decor but was clean and presentable. The lady taking our order was friendly. My son ordered Tutu's Bento and I ordered chicken katsu. Tutu's Bento included all chicken, steak, chicken katsu, kalua pork, mahi mahi, portuguese sausage, and steamed rice. The portion was more than generous! The chicken katsu included steamed rice, macaroni salad and coleslaw. With some delicious Hawaiian Sun juice drinks, our lunch was amazing! Definitely going to return.

Not sure how this place is still operating. Food is alright. Hits the spot when you're craving. Service is pretty absent/bad. Lady didn't greet me, I was waiting to order for a couple minutes while she just stood there behind the counter doing something. Ambiance is gross. I feel sweaty and mildewy when I walk in. Turn on the AC bruh. Clean and dust and repaint. Get some new lights. Place is dirty.
