“What a fabulous place. Went there to celebrate mutual birthdays with my BFF. I loved everything about this restaurant. Our bartender was fabulous, our meal, Branzino.. delicious, eye appealing, beautiful presentation and enough to split We met the owner who spent ample time with us as we asked questions about his journey opening the location, his background and the concept/vision for the restaurant and we met the GM. I loved the ambiance, open and welcoming and they have a mercado with authentic product. Next time I'm going to the pizza bar with some more birthday girls!“

“I’ve often gotten takeout from this place when I’m in South OC, and it always satisfies. The portions are huge AND high quality, which is rare to find. Each entree lasts for at least 2 meals and doesn’t get soggy at all even after being refrigerated, so it’s the best value for quality out there. My favourite dish is the spicy chicken with Sichuan peppercorns, but I recently got the eggplant without bell peppers and liked it too. My partner also let me try some of his Mongolian beef, and it was so good that it might just be the next dish I order from here.“

“This place is special. I came here with my wife on a busy Saturday night. Couldn't have been more impressed with the restaurant. They had live music which set the mood. I had the spaghetti with giant meatball and my wife had a pizza with ham and cheese. I'd give it a ten out of ten. The food is absolutely fantastic, but I recommend saving room for the desserts. We had a bottle of the Pinot Grigio that was a perfect pairing for the pasta. The butter cake was fantastic! Service was attentive. The owner stopped by our table to make sure everything was great. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This will be a regular go-to for us. Highly recommend.“

“Board and brew always has excellent food, experience in the restaurant is always enjoyable. I'm not much of a beer guy but my dad enjoys their beers. Had a rough experience on 3/13 and the manager reached out on 3/14 asking for clarification so he could educate his team and apologized for the inconvenience.“

“One of my families favorites. Been going for years, it has always been excellent. Sandy and Shu do a great job in the front of the house and we all love the food. Favorites include Yosi's crispy fish, mala scallops and chicken. My wife loves the sesame shrimp with walnuts or aromatic shrimp. My buddy ALWAYS gets the chefs special crispy beef. It can get crowded and the food's always fresh so at peak hours you need to be patient when dining in. I order take out a lot (especially during Covid) and never had an issue. Always exactly what I ordered and pretty quick. I highly recommend it!“

“Small but genuine and friendly. This is a cozy and quiet place to enjoy a really wide variety of wines. Either sip or buy exotic wines to go. We also tried their charcuterie board and was yummy paired with their wine of the week (a cabernet from Napa Valley)“

“Found myself here for lunch on a weekday at noon. This pizza parlor serves pizza by the slice if you don't want a whole one. There were probably ten choices for a slice and I chose two: Hawaiian and Pepperoni & Sausage. I also got a fountain drink and was given a lunch deal price. I sipped on a cherry Coke while they heated my slices and delivered them to the table I sat at. The slices were enormous! The Hawaiian had wall-to-wall pineapple and plenty of ham while the Pepperoni & Sausage had meat-o-plenty. The thin crust was a bit droopy while hot but firmed up a bit as it cooled. The cheese had excellent stretch to it. Great pizza, great price, great service...what more can you ask for?“

“I LOVE this place!! I have tried SO MANY things in their menu and have yet to find a dish it don't like. They service is always friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Its a nice place inside, not a cheap looking place like a lot of others places I have seen. Their portion sizes are super generous as well!!Favorites: Thai Bite Sampler, Lemon Chicken, Plah Goong Salad (which comes with the sampler), Pa NangAnd FOR SURE try a Thai Tea while your there. “Absolutely love their burritos!!! I go here at least once/week and switch it up every time. The food is extremely high quality and fresh. The burritos are huge and heat up great if you can’t finish. They also just got several new sauces and they’re all incredible! Staff is all super cool too. I’ve yet to try their breakfast burritos, but I have several friends that told me I have to try them out!“

“We love the freshness and variety in the food here! My kids are always wanting to come here and as a mom I love that they love the grilled fish. The service is always prompt and friendly. They also do catering and picking up the trays of food was a big hit for my kid's bday.“

“Absolutely delicious Mu Shu pork, shrimp with lobster sauce and Egg Rolls. I loved all of it but I had a foodgasm when I ate the egg rolls. All the ingredients seemed fresh and the sauces rocked. This is my new restaurant fave. My only suggestion would be not to use zucchini slices in the lobster sauce. Bok choy would have been better. This was a Door Dash meal that made me happy!“

“Came in for lunch and I was greeted and seated immediately. There were lunch specials at fair prices ,entrees served with rice and beans, so I ordered that. Fresh warm chips and salsa were served. Food came out quickly and piping hot. Taco had generous chicken and the chili relleno was quite good. Serving CE was excellent.“

“Good burger joint with some decent beers too. The Napa Burger is consistently great with goat cheese, grilled onions and pesto mayo. Soft bun and high quality meat. The onion rings and garlic fries are both good side items. I used to really like the peanut slaw but it does not taste the same as previous times (maybe it's just a one off), but I will try it again to be sure. Beer selection is limited but good for fast casual experience. Overall good experience and I will go back for another Napa Burger.“

“Excellent Food and Service with a Smile. Bailey, who manages the front of the house is very accomodating and approachable. For example, restaurants have reasons that substitutions are not usually accepted, however when they are willing to forgo their policies in consideration of specific issues, in this case medical reasons, it shows they have a heart and are not just corporate shmorporate. Even though Hendrix is owned by a restaurant group they function more like a family restaurant, offering a unique set of restaurants with diverse, chef driven cuisines all of which use the highest quality ingredients, local artisanal products usually found in large city restaurants think San Francisco or Miami restaurants.Fortunately, Hendrix is not a national chain and this remains one of the reasons that I really like the staff here...they are treated like people rather than disposable assets (Cheesecake Factory anyone)..When it starts with good people from the top down, it functions more like a family restaurant which I promise is much more desirable to clients and less and less common these days. Kudos to the staff at Hendrix, where even late at night, when the shift ends in 15 mind... Great food is a reason to pick a restaurant but Professional Service is the reason people come back.
