My husband and I have now lived in Laguna Woods for two years and we have tried about 5 different pizza places in the locality from Irvine to Aliso Viejo. Being from NY, myself, I can say that Pizzeria Amore on El Toro (near Calle Sonora) in Laguna Woods has "the" right kind of doughy tasting, golden soft pizza crust. (It doesn't have the "super flat cheapie" quality almost "small tire track" look at the bottom of the slices that some places use. Gosh, we cannot stand that type...read full review
3/4/2024It may not be fancy but the pizza is solid, the price is good, and the staff is nice. 2 slices and a drink was less than $11 and I'm in So Cal, right?I'll be back on my next trip.

This place serves the best pizza I've ever tasted, hands down. The flavors, the crust, the toppings - everything is just perfect. I find myself craving their pizza constantly!
