Worst Mexican food I have bought. Poor service. Meat with no flavor. Wet Burritos are mostly rice. Asked for pork. Got beef. Really, really a bad restaurant. I received a reply saying they were not open since Jan 15. Well someone is using your facility. And I certainly don’t recommend them.

I was looking for tamales and read a good review about their tamales ok lets give it a try knowing how picky my husband is about tamales THEY WERE SO GOOD even the price of dozen tamales was only $23.00 so we picked up tamales thought we would try their menudo OMG. it was good especially having a bowl that did not have a bone in it like other places give you Definitely going back to try their chili rellano after church on Sunday it goes to show you don't judge a place by its looks these smaller restaurants might just surprise you

Best Menudo I’ve ever had in my life! I just moved here and I think I’ve had it 10 times.

My husband and I Visited Abuelas Kitchen yesterday and loved it. I had the best menudo ever since I lived here in California. The ladies were so friendly. Definitely coming back when we are in that area again.

TAMALES= Very delicious! I prefer their cheese/jalapeño ones. But the have beef, pork and chicken too. The corn masa is flavorful, NOY greasy or DRY. Their fillings are plentiful and not cheap tasting. Not sure but I don't think they use any canned ingredients in their tamales. Recently while ordering for Christmas, I learned they're offering a new variety with the same fillings but with rice masa and banana leaf wrapper. 10/10 would recommend. Wish I had had them in my hands right now to take a pic.

Great little hole in the wall authentic Mexican place, Small family owned. Great views of lake elsinore. The portions are huge, the prices are low. We had a chorizo breakfast burrito it was big and delicious!! We will be going back. They have some outdoor seating and small dining area in the restaurant. Can't wait to go back and try some other options on their menu.

I ordered the cheese tamales. I took them home. Put 2 in the microwave for 3 minutes. The husks were really hot. The tamales were moist and flavorful. They were awesome. I can't wait till my next order.

The true definition of don't judge a book by its cover. This place is awesome! The Abuela burrito is worth every penny. And I hope you're hungry because it will not disappoint and will leave you wondering why you ate the whole thing.

After 13 years of going there at least twice a week. I still love this place. Just 4 tables inside, and a crew of 2 to serve you. The owner and her mom are amazing hosts. The food is good and the prices are just right. You feel the love in every bite. You will also get an amazing view of the lake. Come give it a try, you will love it.Vegetarian options: They can make most meals a vegetarian way.Parking: Plenty of parking.

Very good food. The lady behind the counter was very nice and attentive. These little mom and pop restaurants didn't survive in great numbers after Covid. Definitely worth coming in and trying the food. Small six table no frills dining room. Great prices. There are no $12 breakfast burritos here. $6.99. Gets you a full meal. Highly recommend
