Stopped by the store after my yearly Sitton Peak summit hike! Tried their different fudges and had a great conversation with Ian. Make sure to grab one of their unique stickers for whatever brings you to that part of Ortega. Can’t wait for my next visit! ?
After years of wanting to stop by my daughter and I finally went in because we were waiting on my husband to finish a long hike and it started raining. We were welcomed by the owners (a husband + wife duo) in a friendly way and we got some variety of candy and a very delicious & warm chocolate chip cookie! Then they offered we stay by the heater at the table inside and we agreed. As we were there waiting and eating we bought more treats and were gifted a banana muffin by another...read full review

My grandfather built this candy store years ago and it’s so nice to see that it’s doing well. The new owners, Vicky and Ian, are absolutely incredible people! They work so hard to give this place life and Vicky’s baking is out of this world. I’m amazed they are able to run this place on their own with all the obstacles they face. I’m so proud of them and their business. Such a magical gem!!
