We are all so busy these days--holidays are coming, troubling news regarding the wars in Ukraine and Israel, grocery prices increasing, and just every day life. So, it is such a pleasant and diverting experience to actually encounter a cashier who is busy & efficiently checking out groceries and at the same time is able to make you feel like you are the most important customer of the day. Her name is Nessa at the Canyon Hills Stater Bros in Lake Elsinore. Even though she may have a longer line than other cashiers, I still join her line. As I see others are doing the same. She has a very kind and generous spirit. When I walk out of the store I always have a smile on my face. So kudos and accolades to NESSA!

Seems like there's a lot of young cashiers every time we shop. They're always talking about their lives to each other. We don't want to hear personal things. Just want to be greeted nicely and end things with a smile after transactions.

Managers are rude! Once you complain, you're labeled as a problem!!! Meat department isn't very clean either!!! Changing stores, for sure! Went to this store since it opened, No more!

Deli where hot food is served bought party wings they were overcooked to the point not edible. Also got seafood salad which was ok.

I must say the individuals in the butcher department have always been so helpful and willing to butterfly, cube or slice any cut of meat I've asked for. Thank you... it is appreciated I realize that prices have increased but I refuse to pay for brown, wilted or bruised produce. The celery and Brussels sprouts today were disgusting... during the season, no one could find delicata squash.... I found one, small acorn squash and it was pathetic.... I've noticed that buyers for this store are not fully knowledgeable of items used by homemakers that are experienced cooks and haven't carried many ingredients needed for recipes. (Especially during the holidays)Other than that, everyone is nice.

On one of the busiest days Christmas eve the parking lot was full and lines long. But I was amazed how fast they check out people. Literally fastest and most pleasant

I thought I saw it all at this Staters. Deli personnel rubs the left side of her nose with her bare left hand. Then proceeds to gather my order. What in the word is going on at this location. Totally disgusting.. Definitely the store manager needs to talk to this Cari K.

I had my wallet stolen out of my work vehicle. I went to my local Staters that I always shop at.I went to the checkout and said I needed to write a check and I have my passport. My license was stolen so my only form of ID was a passport.Apparently in the United States at Staters a passport is not a valid ID.I needed groceries for the week while I am waiting for my replacement cards and my license.I am 60 years old not that my age matters but I never thought being a United States citizen that my passport is not valid ID it has my photo and name which matches the name on my check.I would give zero stars for the manager if I could.It was emotionally upsetting I am very thankful for my neighbor who brought me cash so I could buy food.

The few times that I have shopped here the young manager on duty is really rude. Dude, if you hate interacting with the public, you may need to rethink working in the Grocery industry or any other job that requires a lot of public contact. You don't make me feel welcome here. Is that because you do not like persons who are not Caucasian like you?I was wrong. My wife (Caucasian) shopped here recently and you were running the express check out line again. You are more interested in speaking with staff standing around idly about non-business related topics than attending to customers waiting in line. No "Hi", "Thank you", or asking if the shopper needs a bag for their purchases. This Stater Bros. is our absolute last resort, emergency store for our grocery needs.

Manager Robert and elderly Security Guard totally harassed myself and my family when I entered with my ESA in a carrier in the basket and my other family as soon as I got in the door they were harassing me completely OSHA as nothing to with a enclosed animal in the store basket Robert the manager was rude, aggressive, a bully, and very Arrogant for a manager and I have been in the inland empire for 30 years I suppose that if you are a person of color and you purchase from this store you are not welcomed you will be harrassed and guess what? followed around the store even out the door please fellow people especially of color be aware of this store this manager and security guard I will not be the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What happened to their meat quality?Stater Brother's used to have top-notch meat. This weekend we had the 2nd time in a row the worst meat ever, horrible grainy meat. We just tried to eat our ribeye steaks worth a few more bucks, and were chewing without a break. No relief ever. Even the great BBQ-ing my husband did could not save this piece of $&@#.To top it off, the idea of going vegetarian crossed our minds, but one bite of the corn on the cob just added to the crappy meal. Another weekend meal spoiled by Stater Bros!

This Stater Bros has the best selection, and greater variety, of all the local Stater Bros stores. And the parking lot is easy for a quick in-out trip.
