Best Indian food in south OC. Quite possibly the best restaurant in the area... that's right- I said it!! The food is consistently good. I always get the gobi manchurian (crispy cauliflower in a slightly sweet and spicy gravy). Highly recommend. I just tried the Saag Paneer (spinach, spices and paneer which is a tender mild cheese)for the first time tonight, so good! Even their rice is fragrant and cooked perfect. I have been here about 10 times since they've opened. I can say that there have been times the food has taken a bit of time BUT they seriously are the best and well worth the wait. The food is always fresh.

BE AWARE and STAY AWAY !!! HORRIBLE Experience The worst place to have food is in entire Orange County. The staff was so rude and arrogant. We were two families with three small kids of age 2 and 4 years. We walked into the restaurant around 8:30 pm since kinds were so hungry. Due to the COVID, we always carry kid's water from home to avoid any contingency. Also, I have a sinus and allegories problem, so I would always try to bring the water from home to avoid any triggers. We just walked into the restaurant and carried KIDS WATER SIPPERS and four bottles for the kids; the guys just showed up and started rudely screaming that "YOU CAN NOT CARRY EXTERNAL WATER, WE SELL IT HERE FOR $2 PER BOTTLE, AND YOU MUST HAVE TO BUY IT FROM HERE ONLY". So I told him, that dude, THIS IS FOR KIDS; they can't drink your FREEZING CHILLED WATER, and due to the medical (sinus and allergies and COVID), we can't let them drink the outside water. So he said," I DON'T CARE, I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE" I was like, dude, are you serious? Are you kidding me? There are just 2 and 4 years kids who need their water, and you are making a scene out of it? I told him that it's NOT an outside food, its a water for kids, and he started arguing that "NO, WE SELL THE WATER HERE, AND YOU MUST HAVE TO BUY IT. HE SAID, NO RESTAURANT IN THE US WOULD ALLOW YOU TO CARRY YOUR WATER", and I was like, dude - I have been in the US for 14 years and pretty much eat outside foods every weekend; I have never seen a restaurant that TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS THIS RUDELY AND UNETHICALLY ESPECIALLY FOR THE WATER. So I asked him, please let me know where is it in your restaurant or on your website it written that you can not bring your water due to medical reasons, and he refused to listen and said ITS MY OWN RULES, I GOT RIGHT TO REFUSE, we were shocked with that behaviors. This is one of the worst places I would say in the entire Orange county; YOU CAN'T JUST COME UP WITH YOUR OWN RULES ON THE FLY AND FORCE CUSTOMERS TO PURCHASE YOUR WATER BOTTLE FOR THEIR GENUINE NEEDS. There was no point talking to this senseless guy who doesn't even have courtesy or respect for their regular customers just for the sake of those $ 2 bottles that he forces his customer to purchase. CHEAP MENTALITY !!! There are so many authentic and clean restaurants that you at least get to eat the fresh food with better bucks for your money.

Danish is awesome! He makes the best food. It is super fresh and tasty. Just the right amount of spicy. Excellent customer service. I have tried all the Indian food around South County and this is by far one of the best. Will be back soon!

Absolutely delicious. The mango lassi is tart, thick, and properly chilled. The chicken tikka masala is so flavorful! Their masala dosa is well spiced and the sauces are all so tasty. I LOVE their naan, too. Everything was hot and fresh. The menu has a lot of variety and includes Northern and Southern Indian dishes. The staff is friendly and the food was quick. 10/10 will return.

Excellent biryani's, best I've found in Orange County so far. If you're vegetarian try the paneer tikka/paneer biryani. It's a shame they stopped selling fresh paan.

You know when they say a "hole in the wall" that is who I would describe Bawarchi Biryanis. It is in a strip mall. The board that describes the food does not work and the place needs some cleaning, but the food., it is delicious !!! We had two dishes amongst us and we left very full. We had the Biryanis and the Dosa- delicious

For those in the know, I apologize in advance for my naiveté on the subject of Indian food (Legit Indian food that is). Which is not to say Bawarchi Biryanis is not legit, it is to say that I am far from qualified to speak to that fact (be it true or not). With the disclaimer now out of the way, I love / hate this place. Let me explain. Guntur Chicken and Garlic Naan (my 1st order at the restaurant). Spicy in a way that hurt so good (Guntur Chicken). Aromatic, depth in flavor, a spiciness that was evolved and sophisticated to my beginner pallet. Such a healthy sized portion (glad I ordered it as my entrée for lunch). Paired with the warm Naan.... a perfect vehicle to shovel the Guntur Chicken in my pie hole. The Asian in me thinks a proper bowl of rice would too, be a compliment to the experience, but there is no denying the aroma and taste of that darn Garlic Naan as you tear a warm piece from the aluminum foil, the moment it hits your table. So that would capture the love piece and now on to the hate. More a personal problem than anything else; as a beginner to the Indian cuisine experience, my digestive tract was not pleased nor happy with the combo of spices that have bombarded my belly. Heartburn and antacids are for the weak and no chance I would indulge in such things; but let me tell you, that lunch stayed with me and kept me up that night, tossing and turning with the angry belly. Sooo worth it in the end, as much like Szechwan Hot Pot for the first time (or the HOT level of Nashville style hot chicken), you are better for the experience and you come back with a greater respect on the next round (and believe you me, there will be many more rounds of these dishes!). I am sure there are more authentic, more freshly-made-to-order versions of what I had. I have no mind to speak to those in the know and those with greater knowledge and experience in this style of cuisine. All of this said, if you appreciate spicy food, really appreciate an offering that is not hot for the sake of being hot; should you have no experience in Indian food, though have an appreciation and respect for depth of flavor (while sweating through your lunch experience because of the spiciness), give this place a try. The food comes out quick. I sat with a co-worker outside on their patio and was entertained by the variety of characters that frequented the coin laundromat next door. Too, you can hear the musak blaring from the Home Depot across the street. Who could ask for anything more on a lunch break? LOL!

While not all biryanis are great, the Vijayawada Chicken Biryani is awesome if you like spicy food (ask for extra spicy and hope that the chef takes your order)!

Temper chicken biryani is awesome my kids love it. As mentioned it's spicy, their amarati prawns curry is also very good the sausage is different as mentioned it's spicy love the taste. This biryani was good only on weekend I took it on Wednesday it's not the same taste or texture sorry I tried it on week days the food is not so good.

Came in during lunch. There was a guy there. No menus anywhere. Asked where can I find a menu. He shows me the door dash QR code. Walks away comes back on the phone then goes back again comes back but is texting and not helping at all. I'm sure the food is great but I wouldn't know since their service to place the order was not worth my time or money
