I hosted a lunch party for my friends and I planned the event three weeks in advance with Nafees, the owner. I talked to him over the phone and we discussed menu items, number of guests, how long I will be there, I was hosting a for a group of 25 women and we went into details like food items, quantity, prices, service etc, I asked him to text me what we discussed so we both remember everything. I told him I would get to the restaurant little early coz I was bringing my own appetizers and wanted to organize before the guests arrived. The day of the event he did 180 degree on me and does not provide me with full service! He says I did not inform him it's a lunch event, he thought my friends would just order from the menu, we would eat and leave immediately! I got the food items we had discussed but no salad although he charged me for it and nan came after we had finished eating, there was just one server for the entire restaurant and I felt sorry for her. He was also v stingy in giving me boxes to take leftover food, we didn't have enough and when I asked for more he said he had given me too many, who does that?He charged me $150 more than he quoted in the text messages and I felt cheated, I had asked him two weeks prior the event if I could pay with Zelle instead of credit card and he had confirmed I could Zelle him the money but at the time of payment he said I either pay cash or card.I wish I had gone to some other restaurant for my event, I am sure I would have saved some money and it would have been more a more pleasant experience for me and my guests.

The owner of the restaurant has a very serious attitude problem. He is and so disrespectful rude and so unethical . He charge the food which were not being served . Not helpful at all. Refuse to help and put on a very sulky face. Food was good. Only 1 server in the whole restaurant you have wait for a very long time for the food. .

The food is really good, but that's about it. Atmosphere is poor and staff aren't very friendly. Service can be slow, but maybe that's why the food tastes so good.

I was there with my family for the Iftar Buffet. I have been to so many restaurants in the past for Iftar Buffet. I have no complaints about their food, but the service was the worst. This restaurant has a mini stage for sangeet night, which is excellent, but there is also a screen in the background. They were playing so loud Naat (NAAT is an Arabic word, and it means, literally, praise. In Urdu, naat means the praise of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). A poem with praise of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is also called naat in Urdu.) It was so loud I couldn’t hear what my family members were saying, and they were sitting a few feet away from me. I made multiple requests to turn down the volume. When I stood in line to get Iftar, they seemed to run out of food (which is expected), but their team was not refilling any of the dishes back up. They ran out of naan and only refilled it once; water and soda jugs were only brought once and were never refilled. When I returned to get more chicken tandoori, the guy told me we stopped making them since the restaurant was about to close. So, overall, I won’t be returning to this restaurant. I am not here to bash Halal Restaurant but to give my genuine opinion about their service.

Service was so so (one waiter for the entire restaurant at lunch) but he was nice and the chicken kabobs were excellent! Juicy, tender and with just the right amount of grill burn flavor. Very much enjoyed it and will be back!

I drove 50 miles to come to this restaurant. The price was very high and we came for the Sheer yakh. We ordered Sheer Yakh, but they bring us Vanilla Ice cream and they sell as Sheer Yakh. Worst restaurant I’ve ever seen.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chili Chutney Afghani Restaurant gem, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate dietary preferences was impressive. Now, let's talk about the food - it was a gastronomic adventure. Each dish was bursting with authentic Afghan flavors. The chicken korma was creamy and aromatic, and the bolani appetizer was a delightful start to our meal. The portion sizes were generous, and we left with satisfied appetites. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with Afghan artwork adorning the walls and soft lighting creating a cozy atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for a romantic dinner or a special celebration. In summary, this restaurant offers not only incredible Afghan cuisine but also a dining experience that leaves a lasting impression. I can't recommend it enough!

5/10, was like any other Mediterranean food, nothing tastes like authentic Afghan food. Service was lacking , the waiters seemed fed up. Didn't get us the right food, and got us the wrong bill.
