Great food, always fresh. Everytime we have been here the service has been amazing. Everyone is friendly and super nice. Have been 4-5 times and each time has been great. Without telling them they realized we had a birthday and brought ice cream for free, such a small thing but makes a huge impact! Great place overall.

Delicious food, friendly & efficient service, very small restaurant which makes for a cosy ambience.

The pricing and options on their bento boxes (our favorite item) has changed at the new year which is disappointing. Now to get what we want we spend an additional $10-15. This has changed our loyalty unfortunately.

Incredible flavors and attentive staff. Hard to find Izakaya in Southern California, so this was a gem. Very generous portions on the nabe hotpot - be wary of this.

We came here 15 mins before their last call but they decline our business citing a slower day and decided to close their kitchen earlier. However, there were still many customers still eating and ordering. Restaurants should abide by their own rules, otherwise it confuses their patrons. We drove far to get here and are disappointed that this is our first experience.

The food and service here was phenomenal. They had a good variety of Yakitori and it was all really good. Thanks to our waiter for the great dessert too.

Came with my family tonight about 2 hours before closing. The service was very good, the servers were very friendly, patient, & attentive. The layout of the place was small but cozy, im only passing through but I would definitely come back when I visit. I ordered 2 Sapporo beers which were crisp & cold. We shared a few items we ordered such as: Spicy tuna roll, Salmon skin hand roll (very crispy & delicious), Pork gyoza, Spicy edamame. Also a few of the meat skewers, my favorites were the ribeye & salmon belly. Finally we shared strawberry & mango mochi, & my sister got a green tea ice cream with chocolate syrup. It was all so delicious, the meats were cooked perfectly & nicely seasoned. I appreciated the desserts not being too sweet since I don't have a big sweet tooth, it was not overwhelming. Overall really good experience with the service & ambiance, as well as the quality of the food. Thanks so much to the staff tonight (:

Was there early evening, not a typical Japanese bar. Did have yakitori on skewers, which is very traditional, but the prices were very very high. Over $100 for one person and only 3 small draft beers

After trying this place again a couple times more recently, it's not like how it was when they first opened. Sushi quality was very mediocre and rolls poorly made. Yakitori is average quality, I think they do it too fast. On top of all that the price is a bit high. It's conveniently close to me but I don't think I'll be back again.

Discovered this gem back in 2020. Food is excellent, and we have been going back ever since.... it's our favorite Japanese/Sushi place. We always get the Bento Box with the Chicken Katsu or Teriyaki Chicken, California or Crunchy Roll, Shrimp and Veg Tempura and a side of the pork gyoza. The Karaage chicken is also very good. Love their fried rice too!!!! Service is always great as well.... they know we're regulars now. Prices are reasonable. I Highly recommend this place!
