great taiwanese food!! they have been around for YEARS but keep switching locations (they were in tustin, irvine, maybe back to tustin again??? but now lake forest)! it is the same family running the place and food and service is the same (amazing)! they have zongzi sometimes too (for special holidays i think?) but some favorites are the pork chip rice, sticky rice, and lo bah! definitely a hidden gem!

Best Taiwanese meat ball! Order it every time and the taste has been consistently good. Great oyster pancake and pickled mustard green soup. I recommend the Taiwanese sausage as well. Very good.

We used to frequent this restaurant when they were still located in Tustin. We ordered the Sticky rice, Oyster pancake, and Pork Marinated in red yeast.Sticky rice - just ok, temp was a bit on the cold side, nothing amazingOyster pancake - at least one oyster was funky... which was a no-noPork marinated in red yeast - portion size was a little sad and pork itself had an aftertaste, like the rice wine maybe wasn't cooked off all the way through?This place is also expensive now in comparison to other Taiwanese restaurants because of the smaller portion sizes. We spent ~ $30+ for the 3 dishes and it wasn't quite filling enough.
No frills Taiwanese eats that is well cooked and authentic tasting. The Tater tots was an interesting add to my dish but surprisingly worked well with the pork chops. The place could be a good staple for many.

This was our first time here. We had never tried Taiwanese food before and we have to tell you it was Exellente!We had their noodle soup with fish, shrimp and squid ?. We tried both soups, one with a broth and the other with a gravey. The one with gravey had much more taste. So, next time we are coming back, we will both order the one with gravey.

Food is decent and we particularly loved the Taiwanese oyster omelette and ba-wan, so good!One dish we didn't really enjoy was the Deep Fried Crispy Pork Chop because it had the curry flavor in and it was supposed not to be like that when it comes to authentic Taiwanese fried pork chop. Service was average that you can expect at Asian restaurants. I guess the owner is the only server but he was nice to introduce the dishes and trying to manage the best customer service.

I think I just found a favorite taiwanese restaurant in OC. This is a hidden gem in lake forest and the food was legit! Love the Taiwanese sausage over rice, the hot and sour soup was really good although it's not a true H&S soup like traditional Chinese restaurant, but they added a lot of ingridents in there! Perfect for a cold night or if you just feeling anything soupy. Shredded Chicken over Rice was good and healthy. A cute mom and pop shop so definitely give it a try when you're in the area. Service is great.
