Be careful ordering through online. I ordered through DoorDash for ramen, 1 pork gyoza (6 pcs) $10 and 1 veg gyoza (6 pcs)First we got the notification from our credit card the correct amount on the receipt. ( $55 with the tip)After 5 min we got the notification again that total amount is $88. So checked DoorDash for clarification and saw just because they didn't have veg gyoza they gave me 20 pork gyoza without consulting us and charged us $45 for 20 pork gyoza!.How can they do that? They should have given us just 6 pork gyoza, why 20? Chicken ramen was not good and pork gyoza was average. Contacted doordash and they adjusted the cost of order to $31.99. But the credit is with doordash. We don't use doordash that much also.

It's very bad ramen. Worst I've had. I think the broth is from an instant noodle packet, despite what they say. Avoid.

They were out of sushi, out of seafood for Shabu, no fountain drinks (canned only), vegetables for Shabu were only a few options, no spicy sauces....I'll be spending my money elsewhere.

Pretty darn good and the price is reasonable. I stopped in for a quick lunch. The place was empty so service was fast. I got a bowl of Ramen + beer combo deal which was around $18 +/- Flavors were really good, the chashu pork was excellent, the noodles had a nice bite and the egg as creamy and not over cooked. Very nicely done. I wanted to go back with my daughter but it was a Monday and they close on mondays.

Food was almost inedible. I think there may have only been 1 server the night we went so service was slow. The bathrooms were clean but the table tops had a lot of dried food caked around the edges.

The service wasn't very good. It was our first time there and we didn't know we had to get up to get our veggies and stuff so we sat there for a while just waiting. The server did not explain to us any of it. The food was just okay, there are way better Shabu spots in Irvine.

We came here for dinner and ordered the combo ramen and rice option to share between 2 people. The portions were enough and satisfying. The tonkotsu ramen and chicken katsu were delicious. I'd prefer more curry with my rice. Hoon is the owner and her personally takes the orders himself. Very nice and generous guy. Come here to support your local Asian shabu and ramen restaurants. Nothing hits the spot like a bowl of warm soup for the cold, windy fall and winter months.

I knew we probably should've tried their shabu shabu instead since we managed to have the most 'meh' ramen ever. Service was fine and polite and our food came out after a reasonable amount of time...but the flavor was just not there. I ordered the shoyu beef ramen + rice combo (I originally wanted to do sushi but apparently they don't have any, the menu is out of date FYI) and my husband had the tonkotsu: the shoyu broth was very one note and lacked any depth of flavor, and according to my husband his broth tasted pretty bland as well. The noodles themselves were okay, not overcooked but tasted just like the broth did: unremarkable. The veggies that came with the shoyu were also unimpressive...I really wish I paid more attention to there being broccoli (never good in ramen imo), the mushrooms were chewy and didn't have an appetizing texture, the corn was typical corn, and the bok choy was limp and overcooked. I managed to finish my bowl but apparently the tonkotsu was beyond my husband's ability to stomach entirely. As for my rice bowl I asked for the chashu fried rice and if you ever had mediocre hibachi fried rice (super oily and very charred) that's pretty much what it tasted like. Pass. If you decide to come here you're likely better off ordering anything but the ramen, I think.

Ramen is definitely not worth it. The broth has little to no flavor, and I didn't even bother eating the meat.

This place was great. Service, meal, atmos, everything was nice. Went for lunch on a Sunday and it was empty which usually would give me pause but boy am I glad I stayed. I got the spicy miso tonkotsu ramen with a side of pork katsu. First and foremost it was actually spicy and full of flavor. Feel like ramen is never as spicy as I like but this one packed a punch. It came with pork belly but I prefer the katsu crunch. Definitely would recommend. Edamame was delicious as well as the gyoza which was crispy as hell. Literally didn't have one at hung that I wouldn't order again. Server was nice and pretty funny. Was worried about my companions because I ate so much and they couldn't hang. I'm so full now so I guess they had the right move. But it was so damn good I couldn't

The tonkatsu ramen was very delicious and the service was great. The broth was flavorful and noodles were perfect. Can't wait to come back to try their shabu and sushi!

First time as dine in. Ramen review only. No one at the restaurant at 3pm, and ordered a tonkotsu ramen.-1.5 stars for a 16 hour broth, it was a really light soup base. Almost like taking leftover soup to-go and adding extra water to get another meal out of it.They forgot two of the toppings, green onion and kikurage mushrooms, but happily applied it when I mentioned it. Apparently the chef is new right now.Another -1 for the overall experience and satisfaction.Wish I could get more authentic Asian flavors south of Irvine, but I feel like I should just stop trying and commit to the drive.

Awesome shrimp and edamame. Not cheap but definitely a treat! Going to have to try the shambu- shambu

I heard about this place from my friend. We've been coming here for several years now. We go every now and then for lunch. It's probably the only shabu spot I know in the area and it's pretty good. We recently came here and noticed the menu changed. I think they added more to the menu like sushi and ramen options. We always get the beef belly shabu. 6 oz is plenty for me. I always get the Tonkatsu soup base and sometimes spicy Tonkatsu. It's my go to broth and it's always yummy! We also noticed they now serve all you can eat veggies. They have a station for veggies and dipping sauce. This place seem to have more protein option than most shabu places. They offer Japanese wagyu! Easy to find - right next to lee's sandwiches.
