Finally found some brisket in California that I was happy with. Totally different from what I'm use to in Texas. The smoke flavor was definitely present, not over done it was very even. Meat was very tender too. Loved my sides. These are my favorite style onion rings. The coleslaw was perfect really. They added pine nuts on top which is a very nice touch. Stick to their smoked ribs, chicken and beef. The brisket sandwich was incredibly good, as was the pork rib full rack, which was very meaty, tasty and surprisingly free of extra fat. The slaw with nuts was also good, but the peach cobbler was a huge disappointment in both flavor and texture.

I came in to pick up food. We had never been here before but happy to see a new BBQ place in the area. I got an assortment of meats and sides to try--brisket (amazing), sausage (so delicious with the mustard sauce they have), and pulled pork, which was very also good.
