Discovered this place on rainy Sunday morning. wasn't quite sure what to expect from an American Mexican Ethiopian restaurant. It's a cozy and clean place with good breakfast. Very family-friendly. But what makes this place is the lovely lady running the restaurant she is so pleasant and accommodating. A consummate professional, who provides excellent customer service.

Anytime I can get perfectly cooked Ethiopian chicken, egg and veggies on top of injera, I'm a happy man. This place had all of that. A friend and I came for lunch and practically inhaled our food. Charming place. Easy parking. Attentive service. Excellent food. Very very tasty and filling for $20.

Delicious Ethiopian food, better than little Ethiopia in my opinion! Been coming here for years. Run by two sisters and you can just taste the love they cook into these recipes! Have always loved the veggie plate but recently ventured to try the Ethiopian Chicken, and boy is it my new favorite. It comes with three veggie sides (default is beets, collard greens and cabbage, but you can sub) and two drumsticks and a hard boiled egg. The spicy chicken sauce is just delishhhh! Highly recommend. My husband always gets the shiro wat add steak. Taste like the steak is grilled and added to the Ethiopian sauce.

I have drove by this little corner cafe and always wondered and keep saying we need to try this place. Well today my goddaughter and grandbebe while visiting the cemetery nearby side to stop by and it did not disappoint very cute home comforting portions are shareable Coffey is dead on Perfect! You all know unlike my . I enjoyed the special of the day , fish tacos . So I'm always looking for that fish taco now, but I need to explain to you that this is not your usual Ensenada light style taco. It was good I was still constipating if I really enjoyed it or not and ultimately I did enjoy it again it is different. The reason is different is because they do cut up the fish so it's enjoyable to eat peace by peace as you're taking a bite, however I'm used to the trimmings on top of the fish taco to have more of a citrus and in this case it's more of a call coleslaw not sweet but has a touch of it so that's all I can say to you if you like that, kind of taste that this is the fish taco for you if you're looking for the Ensenada Taco, then no! Though you should still give it a try cause I really did enjoy it my grandbaby enjoyed the pancakes and my goddaughter enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes

If you're on the 210 west and come across Osborne off ramp dive off turn right at the bottom of the ramp. If you're eastbound 2 10, you coming to Osborne dive off, go left under the freeway and about a block down on your left come across this café, Ranch side cafe owned by a Ethiopian lady they call her Z cause her name is too hard to pronounce. Absolutely fantastic lady. Nice little restaurant great food really good prices atmosphere is nice Services excellent great menu clean just outstanding place. I eat there. Every time I go to California this is one of the better secrets California has.

What a wonderful friendly beautiful place we found. The service was fantastic. We dined early with beer and wine. The dinners with dessert were delicious. They have a fabulous large menu. Next time we'll be coming back for brunch. It's elegant and casual at the same time. Aptly named, it's easy to get to, a cool comfortable place, near horse country. What a fun visit we had at Ranch Side Cafe.

Had a lovely lunch yesterday. Nice ambiance, easy parking, quick service and great tacos. My friend enjoyed the sambusas. Would definitely go again! Interesting menu mix of American, Mexican & Ethiopian.

I love that this is a local place. All the horse people come here so it's definitely a local hangoutPRO:- Great vibe! You can tell this is a local haunt. People everywhere are talking and enjoying themselves- Family owned! Sweet Ethiopian family (who are own horses so they are horse people)- Plenty of parking in front- Good burgers- Good club sandwich- Crispy fries- Not only American food, but also Ethiopian! I haven't tried it yet but looking forward to trying it!CON:- Some of the food came out without temperature. A little odd as they are very careful to cook fresh- Can get busy on the weekendsSUMMARY:A great local hangout with good food and a good family who runs this with love.

The ambiance is chill great people. It does get busy and you will have to wait a bit for seat. But they are very accommodating when they know you have been waiting for a while. The food is great lot of options to choose from. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Portions is very fair

I love this place! The first time I went was for breakfast--and it was bustling! I remember getting a sweeter dessert and it being delicious. However, in my opinion, the dinner is where its at. It does seem like its a lot busier during the day than the evening, which is great in my opinion! Service and food is always quick, staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy I've never had ethiopian food before, but this place has me coming back for more! The vegetarian plate is delicious, but the shirowat is my absolute fav! It's a chickpea flour stew with a nice kick and is served with injera (ethiopian bread). And my god it's delicious. I'm drooling remembering it. The last time I went, the peach cobbler was fresh out of the oven. I actually dislike peach, but MAN was it good. It wasn't overly sweet, but still resonated with my sweettooth! Please come here at any time you like, but definitely try the ethiopian food!
