Love to support small and local!! Unfortunately, every time I visit, I get one of two drinks, and they're never made the same. The quality of the beverages, and inconsistency make it hard for me to keep returning. The staff is so nice, and I'd hate to not come back!

Natalie hand crafted an "off with your heads" (double caffeine) coconut iced coffee that was awesome! Starbucks, take a hike, so glad teachers in the area have this spot to lean on. Super convenient drive through, great prices and responsive service. Made my day!

Atmosphere 10/10 Customer service 10/10 with a smile and happy to give recommendations Pricing 9/10 Food & Drink 4/10 (based on what I ordered, not full menu) Personally, I don't like super sweet things and their iced chai vanilla lavender latte tasted like a breakfast cereal's left over milk with more sugar added to it. If you're into that, this place is for you! It was good just sugary. Their CQ Acai bowl is also very sugary. I love a nice acai bowl but oh my. If you want to feel healthy, skip out on the coconut flakes and get light honey on the acai bowl. I felt grains of sugar when I took my first bite and I think it was from their coconut flakes that had sugar on them. (UPDATE $17.63 not $22 something!) Pure sugar overload. These two items were $17.63 including tip. And I didn't eat or drink either one fully. I threw them out because of how sugary they were. I wish I was warned about how sugary everything was so I could make the necessary adjustments. I love honey that's perfect but feeling the grainy sugar is what turned me off. (My spending alert said $22.something and I thought it was towards this purchase) The reason I gave a 4/5 was because the customer service was amazing, the girl was a sweetheart and was willing to give recommendations, the menu was large, nice atmosphere, and their pricing was fair. The food just didn't match my personal flavor palette. If you have a strong sweet tooth check this place out!

I was in Lakeside for the holidays with my brother and needed a boost with some holiday spirit. Google recommended Caffeine Queens. It might take a second to find, but once you see the line of cars by the side of the building, you will know you're in the right place. I got the shaken espresso *cinnamon bun. And it was one of the best coffees I've had in a while. It was frothy and nutty. Not sweet. So good.

Cute quick place to grab some good coffee. Definitely better than Starbucks. Also they do fun energy drinks but I havent tried them. I reccomend the queens delight and also the cinnamon roll coffees iced♡
super delighted by this hidden gem had a caramel iced coffee and it was delish. wasn't offered a punch card/reward program so that's kinda disappointing (read in a previous post they offer one). wish they had a place to sit inside.

One day, not too long ago, I was taking one of my normal walks around Lindo Lake and I happened to see something on top of one of the wooden posts. Of course I had to investigate. What did I find. A cute little 3D printed crown and a small card for one free espresso drink at Caffeine Queens. Well, I am delighted by small finds, so I was pretty excited. I didn`t even know there was a small coffee shop close by and I`m trying to go to Starbucks less.The first time I went, I forgot that I had left the crown and card in my house, but I mentioned it and they told me they needed to have the card in hand to redeem my free drink. Okay! No problem. I still got myself and my mom a coffee because we were there. After I paid I asked if there was a rewards program to earn free drinks, they said yes but that I could get set up NEXT time with my phone number and link it to a card. I was slightly put off by that because it seems they still could have set me up, but whatever. I got a hot vanilla latte with oatmilk and my mom had a hazelnut latte with oatmilk and both were very good. Here is the thing: I don`t like super sweet drinks and these drinks had the perfect amount of syrup to make them delicious but not too sugary. My mom and I agreed that we would return. Return we did for some hot dirty chais with oatmilk(this time I got set up for the rewards and used the freebie card) and again, really delicious drink. I`ve been a few times since and if I`m close to Lakeside, CQ is where I will go for coffee. The set-up is different in that it is an opening in the side of a building(not a window) and you can see your drinks being made. I like it and appreciate a drive-thru as the only option. Staff is nice enough. I will be going back again and again.If you're in the area, stop by for a coffee.
