The place is located in the food court at Barona Casino. The place was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I opted for the Kung Pao Shrimp (Daily Special for Saturday), which turned out to be a delightful choice. The perfect balance of spice made it a memorable dish. However, my wife's Beef Lo Mien leaned a bit too heavily on the salty side. Will definitely go back here again and try out the other items for sure.

Stopped by Barona to check out the extravagant Lunar New Year decor this year. I'm not a gambler so the only tables that get my money are the ones at the food court. Tried my luck at Ho Wan Noodle Shop, and I'd consider it a moderate win. Joined a queue of 10+ people at 10 pm Sat, but it moved fast. Food was ready in less than 10 mins. Cashier was polite. My BBQ Pork Soup Noodle was well-portioned. The pork was a bit hard at the outer edges but juicy otherwise. Thin egg noodles were at proper doneness. Veggies were a bit impoverished in portion though. The broad pan-Asian menu, late hours, and speedy service make Ho Wan a convenient choice. Maybe I'll bet on another menu item some other time.

DON'T BE FOOLED Sign by this Barona casino walk up Asian restaurant states voted Best Of San Diego. We had Phô, ribs, and shrimp Panceit. All were lousy. I eat phô weekly, girlfriend eats lots of panceit. Both were really, really subpar. We also had some ribs that were cold and chewy.

This is place is yummy! The staffs though in the front look so tired and lacking customer service. It's probably because they are busy and wanted to catch-up with work. Located at Barona. Plenty food to choose from and good amount of servings. It's a must try. 1-18-2024

Service is fast but the line is so long. Please buy better rice. As fast food as it gets tbh.

One of the best place for roasted duck in town, I've been trying the dish at so many restaurants in San Diego, I still have to come here for the crispy juicy less fattening duck meat at Ho Wan 好運 meaning Good Luck. The place exists since my first time at the casino dated back in 2010.Although it's Chinese Canton restaurant they do serve other Asian dishes such as Vietnamese Pho, Singapore noodles, Filipino pancit and more, you can try them all since they open 24/7, so yes come here eat first then play or vice verca, I would say get your stomach full first, your call, Barona got you :)

The food here at Ho Wan is great. And Barona is very generous about giving Diamond card holders complimentary food daily. And love spending those comps on Ho Wan. Love ordering the roast duck. However, I had a bad experience the last time I ordered food at Ho Wan. This guy Wesley didn't want to give me an extra plum sauce for the roast duck. Considering the generosity that Barona gives to their customers, here's Wesley penny pinching on plum sauce. Me and my wife normally eat at Barona's steak house for free courtesy of Barona, and yet Wesley couldn't give me an extra plum sauce for my roast duck. Just terrible customer experience.

Food presentation nice. Giving out orders unorganized let me elaborate-after you order theres many bags (togo bags) sitting on the pickup counter. No one is calling out numbers…when u find your number its like 6 digits long.. guy tells me last 3 numbers. But he is not calling any not even the last 3. I wait up there just to keep on them. After a while everyone watching copies me and inquiries about there order. I’d start a number system since their line is long. For food flavor panda express is better. Hot sauce makes it taste better.Kitchen is staffed well. Front of house however is under staffed.See photos for all the bags on pickup counter waiting….but no one is calling out orders…

i love their food! I recommend the lo mein, pan fried noodles or bbq pork fried rice. Some staff isn't the nicest but they're the ones dealing with difficult people all day so what can you do. but overall love this place

Very average at best. It's pricey for the quality and quantity. I will say the short ribs were delicious though. Should have been more of them for the price. Definitely a one and done for us.

Prices are extremely expensive now, almost double what they used to be.

Great Asian. I had noodles and duck. Pancit and Lumpia were good and flavorful. I will return. Thanks

Pad Thai with shrimp was the worst Pad Thai we ever had! Noodles were very skinny & thin…as a take out…it stuck all together in one solid mesh. Do NOT purchase unless you want to waste your $21.00!Info…Check: 8803639; Table: 41; Server: Claudia; Terminal: 88…April 4, 2022; 15:06 …at Barona Casino.Wish we knew who the horrible cook/chef was…worst ever!!!
