So when I use the KFC app to order a family chicken deal which it’s not a deal btw for $35 when it used to be $20 Fill Up and way less prior to Covid! The time that it says it will be ready is not the time you will get your food so beware that you should arrive later like give them 15 more minutes or arrive early and be prepared to wait another 15 to 30 minutes for a family meal. The night manager is very nice and may offer you a free drink or a free small cake! I recommend both if you have to wait longer than normal for your food.

I’d give 0 stars if I could… $50 later the 14 piece chicken family meal was suppose to be half original and half crispy and was all soggy/greasy couldn’t tell what was. 3 out of 6 biscuits was raw. Coleslaw had a dead fly in it. Makes you not want KFC ever at any location. This Lakeside location needs to be inspected.

Kentucky fried grease is the best way to describe this chicken. Not only does this place look run down, butthe greasy flavor of the chicken is run down. I suggest you steer clear of this place!!!!

I wish I took a photo to show but I forgot. Popped in here last weekend to pickup something easy between family parts during Christmas weekend. I had heard it was under new management and supposedly being run better.Began to Ordered a 12 piece bucket but asked for 1/2 split between original and extra crispy. They said they couldn't do that. Like my dude, it's the same price and I know you don't keep inventory on the chicken. So I ordered 2 meals where I could split it up, whatever just wanted people happy. I didn't care it was a way higher price that way. Get home to find an assortment of all EXTRA crispy. And not only that it's so over cooked and or the oil must have been old it tastes burnt, it's greasy and the breading is barely edible. Only reason it gets 2 stars are the sides were consistent to normal KFC standards. I will continue to avoid this location.

I drove up to the drive-through about 1028. I didn't know they weren't open the drive-through talk to me said would I like to try this or that I realized maybe the thing was broken so I drove up to the window. I waited six minutes two minutes after they were supposedly opened I looked in the window and they were helping the counter just ignoring me. Ok so i did go at what would be considered dinner rush so i didnt mind when they said it would take extra 12 mins for them to cook more chicken. When i got home i found they had forgotten one of my sides. I called and they said whats my reciept number, they didnt give me one. She looked up the order i placed. Yep you did order coleslaw. Then preceeded to say next time you come we'll give you one. I sat down to eat and found the chicken leg meat was not cooked all the way. 33.00 dollars down the sink. Won't be going back. Dont waste you money go somewhere else.
Easy to get to, lots of parking. Food was hot and fresh. We tried the new barbecue chicken sandwich. It's a big one so didn't do the combo. Great service from the manager and her staff.

I went through drive-through and order a 4 piece all dark. When I got home, there was one dark piece and 3 light pieces. KFC didn't even bother to mention that they were out of dark meat. Will never go back to KFC, Lakeside, CA.

Not a huge fan of having my time wasted. Yesterday I walked to the kfc on woodside in lakeside. I had my order all set up through online. Go to hit pay when I get there to make sure tenders are fresh etc. It than says not available online for that location. But it didn't say that before I walked there or when I got there. I'm disabled so walking for nothing & it being the restaurants fault is frustrating by itself. Than having employees say try resetting your app & make excuses is worse. And Didn't work. Wouldn't even let me select that store now. They than say they are charging the stores wifi or something so that's probly why. That it's happened before.Ok no problem they should be able to honor the online prices for the inconvenience especially since its happened before. Nope they can't do anything. No manager available. Wrote my name & # down & was told manager would be in and call me today by 1pm. Nobody called. Which shows they don't care about customer service. So now it's taking it to corporate.
