I love your ice cream except for the female staff serving on Oct 18, 2023 around 7pm, Barona. I ordered for a shake and she gave me the ice cream. I noticed it when I was already in the hotel. Not the 1st time I experienced something not nice from her. Not accommodating and kinda rude if you ask her about the dining credit you have on your Barona card.

Good quality ice cream,but great customer service by Felicia is what makes the place the best. The sweetest kindest person even when she is working by herself always greets you with a smile and asks how you are and proceeds with getting you exactly what you want. Unfortunately, COVID has caused most buffets to close permanently. However, the ambiance, service (by Myleen), food quality & value at Sage Cafe made us quickly forget that disappointment. She brought us a basket of assorted breads as soon as we were seated (overlooking their lake) and took our order. My cobb salad salmon was grilled to perfection & my husband rated his philly cheesesteak with garlic fries extremely tasty. Portions were so huge we took half our meals home, so didn't try the desserts, which looked delicious as they passed by us to other diners.

Previous reviews stated the casino was too cheap to purchase a liquor license. Alcohol only served in restaurants, not in casino. Reason is the responsible decision to limit consumption due to hazardous drive on Wildcat Canyon Road and help decrease serious accidents. I applaud the decision.

We have been to multiple Northern California casinos. This one is very neatly laid out, lots of space between slot machine clusters. Clean an well-maintained. And the payout ratios seem quite good. Plus the food court has good options and reasonable prices. Parking was easy, even during the busy Thanksgiving long weekend.

I live in Central California and drive over 5 hours to get to Barona. We like to gamble, and Barona is by far our favorite Casino. The staff and free comps. make it worth it. Overall, we have done pretty good when we gamble. We don't always win (like all other casino's), but we always have a great time. Johnny Bucalo, casino host is always friendly and helpful. Not the biggest Casino, not the smallest Casino but it is just right. Oh, and the food is good too.

This casino used to be one the best casinos to play blackjack, but now it's a suckers carnival. New cards come out premixed and they won't display them on the table before putting them in their 'crooked' shuffle master machines. The cards come out in clumps of A, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10's & 7, 8, 9s & 10's more often than not which gives the house an enormous advantage if you're playing basic strategy. They keep the tables crowded which slows the game down as well. This casino has the highest overhead of all the Southern California casino's and they're very tight. My wife plays slots, and had never one anything at this casino. The only thing positive about this casino is the staff is very friendly, reasonably priced food, nice hotel and it's non-smoking.

Honestly I wanted to go to Sycuan but my friend (Driver) wanted to come here. And honestly I should of paid her 100$ to just a few miles away to another casino cause it would of been worth it. Who puts in over 250$ on a game and not get 1 bonus I was playing 10 on a game and won 12$ WoW at Sycuan I would of won at least 400$ and it’s a popular game called Fire Link yeah F this place I swear I should of just stayed home. Or just choose better friends to gamble with. SO DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY Even Jamul would of paid way more I guess this place is doing bad.

I usually have a good time a Barona. They have some free beverages. Employees really try to be courteous. Food court is reasonably. Free parking is usually available close to entrance. Dealers try to be fair. Country roads give a nice try to the casino. Not quite the variety of games as Las Vegas. Card Craps. Had a positive impression overall.
I had not been to any casino since Covid. I had not been to Barona since 2016. But, one day, my hubby and I decided to go, just had out booster shots and Barona is non smoking and has promised they will remain so. No wonder on a Saturday, it was not crowded at all! We loved it! I played everything I wanted to, no waiting and they don't really allow the "looky loos" who stand so close behind you just watching, that is a huge pet peeve! They had a new large food court too that I had not seen. I got some free play and free food. I won a hand pay on a penny machine ($10 a spin) and basically had a ball! The only improvement would be a nicer high limit area. The one at Barona was super dull, not many machines, and not very inviting. You also must cash tickets with a floor person, no machines to cash out anymore. Overall, Barona still has the people who make it fun, who are kind, and we had a great time. Best of all, I did not have to come home and wash my hair and clothes! No smoke smell! Yeah!

My wife and I really enjoy to play in Barona casino. Staff are very friendly. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and environment is comfortable. Mr. Joseph Vicaldo, you are the best of best.

Awesome, Friendly employees, .As soon as you drive in the guard steps out & waves as you drive by. Put a smile on my face. Hotel stay for Fri & Sat was great . Room big & clean & quiet. Fitness Center A+....Lots of sanitizer & wipes through out to make you feel safe still Won at almost every slot machine I played at. Best one was $100 in $650 out. Only went to food court, but lots of choices & affordable prices. Overall GREAT time. I live 2 1/2 hours away, but will return in the future! Thanks Barona you are on point with Us!!

Don't waste your time or money here. The bonuses are bad when you get them. You'd have better luck at Viejas or Sycuan. The price of food has doubled. I actually walked up and gave him my diamond card and told them they could keep it. I'm tired of losing and I'm tired of not getting any kind of service for it. I have been playing here for years and for some reason they have gotten greedy.
