Best biscuits I have ever had !!!!

I am pretty selective about bread, the cheap stuff on the supermarket rack isn't anything I would waste money on. Health-building, ancient grains the way our ancestors would have been nourished...if you feel yourself wandering in a wasteland of nutrient-deprived foods and you long to reach for something that would really nurture you...this is that bread. And the best part is I don't have to tend the sourdough or hunt down ingredients or try to make it! Heather (the owner) carefully selects ingredients and crafts them into loaves that are as delight-filled as they are lovely to behold. I purchased a special loaf of cranberry-walnut and was delighted by the flavor as well as the ingredients. She nailed it...it tasted like holidays. Thank you so much for introducing me to this ancient grain - I am so blessed!

Some of the most delicious sourdough bread I've ever had. The crust is amazing! Great variety of types and flavors to choose from.

We Came Upon this amazing Baker at the Alamitos Marina Farmers Market , prior to meeting her eating and enjoying her bread I hadn't eaten bread for about seven years I have digestive issues and gluten bothers me a lot since I've been eating this bread which is about a year-and-a-half maybe two years now it is always stellar I also buy the fruit hand pies and blueberry muffins I like her sourdough and cinnamon raisin bread I would also like to try her garlic bread it really speaks to me because she uses organic ingredients and it is extremely high-quality I don't have to compromise well I wouldn't compromise for bread this is definitely a necessity I think Simplicity is the highest form of sophistication and that's what you get with this bread and baked goods give them a try, youll be happy u did.

For the past 2 years, I've suffered from gluten intolerance. Being Italian and not being able to eat wheat is pretty rough. No pasta, no pizza, no bread, etc. After a ton of research, I found that a number of gluten sensitive people were able tolerate einkorn (specifically, sourdough) as an alternative to modern 'frankenwheat' and thought i'd give it a try. While visiting my parents in Long Beach, I happened upon Heather's bakery, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to see if the einkorn rumors were true. I ordered a custom sourdough loaf (batard - 50% white 50% wheat) from her to try it out. And I nearly cried tears of joy when I found out that I was able to eat wheat again without excruciating stomach pain. Not only am I able to tolerate this wheat, but it's even more flavorful (and nutrient dense) than the other stuff I can't eat! My wife and parents loved it too. I'm actually beginning to suspect Heather is some kind of sorceress. My second order was for a sandwich loaf (which uses milk). I'm lactose intolerant, but thought that since it was such a small amount of milk in the bread, that probably wouldn't bother my stomach. Not so - oops. I let heather know, and she is so committed to amazing customer service, she actually made me another non-lactose loaf free of charge (which was also amazing). I could go on and bore you with more details, but the fact of the matter is that I can't recommend Heather and iHeart Einkorn enough. Whether you're gluten sensitive or not, this is some of the best (and highest quality) bread that you're going to eat. period. If you're like me, and you want only the best for that temple you call your body, give her bread a shot.
