We just ordered the strawberry cake this morning and was told to pick up at 230. This cake was not moist at all. bread is dry it's Awful. This is an expensive small cake not to be fresh. So this cake was not nade today so i wonder how long had it been sitting in the fridge on stanby. I would like my miney back for this poor quality of cakeThis was for someone special and it couldn't be ate to ruff. Susie useto have really good cakes but this was a big DECLINE.

If you're a desert lover like myself, and you're looking for a good cake or slices at that point, then you're missing out if you don't come to SusieCakes to get yourself some of this goodness. This place rocks.!!! service is always good, the people that work there are super friendly, and the place is spotless on top of all that.Now onto the cakes, in my opinion, these things are absolutely perfect. They're rich decadent, and I'm telling you one slice of this cake is enough for two servings easily but I do like to buy the full cake there and I'm telling you it feels like this thing weighs about 10 pounds, yes it is a little bit more pricier than some of the other bakeries in town but 100% you get what you pay forThe red velvet is the best in the business, the chocolate cake is also fire, and if you want something a little old school go with the carrot cake. I feel like the cupcakes and be a little dry at times but I've never had a problem with the cakes or the slices always moist and delicious.They do an excellent job of decorating and you can also order online, which is a bonus I've got a mini Nixon cake from this place and never have been disappointed. Don't walk ,RUN to Susie cakes to get yourself a delicious cake for any occasion.

I had gotten a beautiful and delicious Old Fashioned Chocolate Sheet Cake for my girlfriends 40th birthday party last year, so this year I decided to get a smaller version of the same cake for my mom's 70th birthday. Same delicious and moist flavor that I remember, everyone really enjoyed it, and it paired very well with ice cream! They added a nice message on the cake for me in icing and topped it with some nice sprinkles. I really will have to return here to try some other flavors as well as some of the cupcakes they have, I am sure they are all fabulous.

The cakes are delicious; I tried the celebration cake but they all look great. They are not light at all, so if you prefer a lighter texture bread, you probably won't like this. It is a traditional cake with rich and sweet buttercream frosting. That being said, unless you have a major sweet tooth, a little piece of cake goes a long way.

The staff were very helpful, it was my first time there so wasn’t sure what would have been possible on such short notice. They helped me pick out a birthday cake from the display and even decorated for me and had me all set and on my way! The cake turned out fantastic and couldn’t be happier with the result.

Ohhh SusieCakes, how I love thee.When I land at LB Airport, many times I stop off for a sweet treat and love to pick up a decorated sugar cookie(s) for my Dog Sitter, because my very next stop would be to her house to pick up my pup after my travels.All cakes are delicious and moist. Their frostings tend to be very sweet, so take this into account. Personally, I'm good with it. I don't have an exact fave flavor as I'm versatile and easy to please but I never go wrong with the lemon or red velvet.Last visit on Oct 2, my purchase included a cupcake to benefit the Susan G Komen/ breast cancer fund. Sami helped me and also informed me about their app to track my purchases and earn rewards. I never knew about it before!! She threw in a bonus cupcake=Thanks Sami

I ordered an online Vanilla Celebration from SusieCakes. Was expecting a SusieCakes price quality, with all 5 star reviews, a better flavor in mouth than other quality bakeries. Its was a disappointment. Great cake packing! but the cake color, its looks doesn't really match the online foto. That's not the worse, un-till eating it. Taste was quite comparable to a discount cake picked off-shelf from Walmart, excess use of sugar in some places. I and my invited had to chew the cake in mouth, while expecting it to be of quality which shall melt in mouth. Don't know if was not fresh or is just bad quality preparation. Disappointed at the best. Thankfully it will be last pick.
