Pilots, if you haven't been here in awhile or it's your first time, Foxy's is pretty good. Locals you probably already know about it.There is not much going on nearby the airport that I can see, but we just flew in for lunch and then went back to San Diego. The three of us all had melts. Turkey and ham and cheese. We all liked them very much. Fries are a bit dry, lacking in taste but acceptable. I had the coleslaw side instead of fries, which impressed me because it was without mayonnaise. Actually healthy and good tasting. The server she was really nice.

I got simple bacon and eggs and the only think that was edible was the toast. My husband got an omelet and had trouble eating it due to the salsa being too much. It is dingy and outdated. The only nice thing was being able to watch the panes land and take off. If they did a little updating and improved their food this place could be really popular!

We love this place, but it is really expensive. Great experience watching the planes as you eat, especially if you have a little one with you, and the staff are always great.

Food is okay and portions are on the small side. I do like watching takeoffs and landings of the many aircraft that are stationed there.

It's a small light filled diner with great views of fox airfield. The food is comforting and tasty. If you have a kiddo who is into airplanes or you yourself is an aviation enthusiast then I would highly recommend.

If you love places with history and friendly faces, this is the place. After a nice walk at Apollo Park, I love coming here to have an excellent breakfast or grab a cup of coffee.Right when you walk in the hostess greets you with a smile. You can sit next to a window and see the plane's landing. All the breakfast plates are named after airplanes ✈️ . The breakfast burrito ? is enormous. You definitely can share. My son eats the entire thing.Overall this is just a great place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee.
