Hello you Virtue-ous Coffee Roasters! To thank you for your prompt attentions to my recent order. Particularly for correcting my error about pick-up vs mailorder. Whew! That fancy german water boiler is hard to find and yours is a Great price. Personal attention appreciated! Joe 'Papa' in Garberville.

Awesome little coffee shop at Desert Vineyard Church. They should be open more often.

We're definitely a little biased toward this awesome coffee shop because we love the church that owns/operates it (Desert Vineyard Church). But you don't have to attend the church to come partake in this hidden gem in the valley, although we'd love to welcome you to one of the church services as well ;)Hours during the week can vary so double check before you stop by.

Not sure how long this place has been open for but I’m so glad I found it. It is so quiet and clean. Perfect area to study. The coffee is great. This will definitely be my go to spot for coffee and quiet time. You must check it out!

I love supporting local businesses in our community. Beans roasted (in a zero-emissions roaster) on sight. Grab a bag of fresh roasted beans and then get yourself a handcrafted drink! Try the Horchata latte- Iced or my go-to is always the Americano. If you're an espresso drinker, the Fortitude Espresso is top notch. Take home a bag for your coffee maker, as well! They do grind it for you, if you prefer. This is located inside Desert Vineyard Church

I am a true coffee lover. I don't like the sweet drinks from the chains in the AV. This does not mean Virtue coffee can't deliver on your favorite drink if that's what you like. For me, the cappuccino and latte are my go to drinks. By far better than anything else I have tried in the AV. Most definitely recommend to anyone in the area. It is worth getting out and trying it out.

Awesome selection of fresh roasted coffee beans, best ambiance in the AV, excellent tasting hand crafted drinks, friendly vibe, yes please! Love this place. As far as I know this is the only licensed coffee roasters in the AV. They use the Bellwether Roasting System which operates on zero emissions and is environmentally friendly. Only ethically sourced beans are used, and this coffee shop supports the homeless. Oh and did I mention delicious hand crafted coffee drinks?

100% of the proceeds goes back into helping homeless in our community. You can also shop for beans online and have them shipped to you. They roast fresh weekly. Try the Churro Ice Blended or the Lavender Honey Latte and the Waffles! My favorite beans are: Fortitude Espresso, Brazil, and Columbia.

Stop supporting Starbucks and start supporting your community. Their coffee is fresh, delicious, ethical, and benefits our unhoused population. What more could you want?

I am originally from the AV and have started to visit frequently. I’m surprised the area doesn’t have more specialty coffee shops and locally roasted beans. I was very excited to find this shop. It’s located inside the Desert Vineyard church. I am not religious so going in was a strange experience but worth it. I went on a Sunday and ordered their honey lavender latte and a cold brew. Both were excellent. The staff was friendly as well. I was so impressed that I went back a few days later but was greeted with a lot of confusion. A whole different vibe. The doors were locked and then I was let in by a church worker. They looked surprised to see someone there. I asked if the coffee shop was open. He said yes. I walked over and a coffee shop employee looked surprised and asked if I was there for beans. She then said they only sell coffee on Sundays and beans the rest of the week. Nowhere on their website, reviews, or Instagram does it state this. I was very disappointed and upset to have wasted the gas. Could you please make it clear on your website that you do not sell coffee regularly? And if it does say that somewhere would you direct me to it so I can update my review?
