The outdoor seating was nice once they opened up the plastic covers - very enjoyable and airy. My wife's order of wine for Mother's Day took 25 minutes and took two reminders to bring the wine. The food was great.
I was really bummed by the quality of the food and the portion size. I have been going here for YEARS entertaining guests from out of town as well as friends, but I had not been in a year for many reasons. I was SO BUMMED. I got the legendary Pastrami sandwich. It was ok at BEST. SUPER small to the point that my guest commented, "we might need or order something else, I thought we were getting food?" We usually save this place for big occasions so went yesterday for Mother's Day. Disappointing. The $25/glass of Pinot Noir was so so. The steak was tough and not very tasty. The service was smarmy and forced and lacking a steak knife. So underwhelmed. And it still costs a fortune. Desserts were wonderful.
