Food is absolutely delicious! The staff & service are really good! I imagine precovid it was a restaurant with some ambience but it's just a bare bones place now that seems to do a ton of takeout. Definitely try if you have not! The food will not disappoint!!

I rarely post reviews and am not that picky but felt my experience here deserved one. I ordered Palak Paneer, rice and garlic naan through DoorDash. I didn't get the rice I ordered but got 2 sides of cucumbers instead. I was disappointed but I wasn't going to let that sway my opinion on the food. Palak paneer is my go to but I honestly had to choke this one down. The garlic and salt were overwhelming and it had a taste that I can't even pinpoint. I chose a "regular" spice level but I'm still sucking air, coughing and my nose is running because it was so spicy. The garlic naan was good but I'm so disappointed I wasted my money on this place and am baffled this place has such raving reviews.

This the BEST Indian-Pakistani restaurant I've visited. I have yet to find one in OC that can come close to this place. Not even the places in Little India in Artesia can compare (and I've tried them all, believe me?). This is family owned, and everything is made from scratch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you're in Lawndale.

Called ahead and placed a catering order for a small get together and I had a good experience. The food was ready at the agreed pick up time and customer service was good.Ordered the butter chicken, rice, garlic and butter naan, and gulab jamun. The butter chicken was delicious and spicy (at my request), the naan was decent, and the gulab was good.P.S. just ask to speak to the manager if you have a catering order so you don’t have to repeat yourself.

Food was good. Service was super shitty and left a bad taste in our mouths. The two older ladies with kids running around acting as if we were wasting their time and they have better things to do, were horrible. If we ever come back we are ordering for pick up. Don't waste your time dinning in! You will be ignored and forgotten.

You have to try this place out. Food is amazing and tastes extremely fresh. Service is quick and not overly friendly, but never rude. Ambiance is standard and has lots of space for larger parties so it's great for families!

The food was ok, however when we ordered dessert I got the vanilla ice cream with almonds and cardamom. We payed about 5$ for a small side cup of frozen solid frost over ice cream that we couldn't get the fork through because of how hard it was. When we asked the guy if we could get one that wasn't frozen solid he told us it would thaw out eventually. When it eventually did thaw out it tasted like freezer burn like it had been in the freezer for weeks.
I remember coming to this restaurant many years ago. Best food. Can't wait to trying it again soon. I'll update my review then.

Pretty good but it's obvious they make the sauces separate and then dump the meat in when packing the containers. This makes the chicken dry and flavorless, not tender and full of the flavor of the sauce it was supposed to be cooked in
