My experience with Chef Jen was amazing, professional and classy. I can't recommend Chef Jen highly enough. As we began planning meals for a week for a party of nine, I probably tweaked the menu three different times and at least once while we were there on vacation- she was unbelievably accommodating with everything thing I changed and every request I made. She accommodated every single change with pure flexibility-to include a Father's Day brunch with omelettes and homemade Bloody Mary's and mimosas!Food - the food was great. Seasoned, beautifully presented and packed with flavor! Every meal -breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. Each night was a different homemade dessert-My son said the cheesecake was the best cheesecake he had ever had!Service- Chef Jen was extremely professional. She treated her Sous Chef, Chef Zelda with nothing but respect. They prepped, cooked, packaged leftovers and cleaned EVERYTHING. Me and my family were able to just enjoy the food.Extra- when a member of my party became ill, Chef Jen made a bowl of homemade chicken soup. It was such the perfect touch for my guest and extremely thoughtful.I would hire Chef Jen again in an instant and would highly recommend her for any event you want catered.

Chef Jennifer Story has an absolutely grotesque work ethic and no respect for her team or the people who hire her. She was hired as the head chef for a wedding I assisted and attended and the experience could have not been worse. I do not have any type of personal relationship with this chef or her business. My experience is from what i witnessed as an assistant to the client and as a guest at this wedding. She was rude, disorganized and consistently disrespected her staff by using curse words to express commands while bringing food out. Making great food to compliment an event is only a portion of a chef's responsibilities with a client. Training, respecting and supervising supporting staff in a professional and efficient manner as well as monitoring sanitation practices in order to ensure the success of an event are equally important elements. Instead this woman was hot headed, careless, and totally unprofessional. She clearly does not know how to lead a team and she created a really uncomfortable environment for the guests, her staff and ultimately for all of us who were involved in hiring her team. What Chef Jennifer Story did post the event, was even more unethical than her behavior during the event. At the conclusion of the event, she was given a $3,000 tip which she was instructed to share with all the team members who assisted her during the wedding. Instead she decided to pocket the entire tip and to completely dismiss all the work performed by the team. She cursed, yelled, and bossed the team around during the entire event but when it came to sharing the gratuity earned by every person involved, she referred to the team as "temp staff" and incinuated that since they were paid separately, she didnt feel that she needed to share the tip. When she was questioned about this, this "professional" chef sent a tacky and rude text message reiterating that this was her tip and that she had nothing to do with the rest of her team. As clients and attendees we were deeply frustrated by her grotesque response. Funny how she was quick to rely on the assisting staff to help her do her job efficiently during the event but suddenly had a case of amnesia and lack of gratitude when a tip was involved. She was clearly instructed to share this gratuity but this woman took it upon herself to ignore that instruction and to disrespect all the individuals who worked as hard as she did. What type of chef allows greediness to taint the relationship with her clients? More importantly, what type of human being forgets their values over a few dollars? Perhaps she needed the $3000 more than she needed to be a decent human being. Its a shame and its absolutely grotesque. If decency and integrity are important to you when doing business with an individual, look elsewhere. The manner in which she expresses herself can give you a clear idea of the type of individual she is. There are other consumers who have shared their individual experience on different platforms. Please do your research because this was a truly unsavory and uncomfortable situation to experience. Her lack of decency and professionalism is unbelievable. Chef Jennifer Story, please learn to have respect for other people. Your cooking skills don't make up for your people skills. A little class would be great.
