UPDATE: yeah, thought it was just an off day but they're just racist. lol. Don't come here if you don't speak Spanish. Awful. I came here and the workers just stared at us. We had to flag a woman down in an empty bar to order two beers, and she immediately goes and starts gossiping with her coworker in Spanish. We notice, and she says "we just think you look very young." Okay, then.. ask for ID? She ended up not ID'ing us, serves us the beer, and immediately goes back to blatantly talking about us in Spanish. Another party walks in and all of a sudden they are friendly as ever, ready with the chips and salsa and decent service. No problem - I paid for our beers that we ended up not even finishing and left. Good for those who they deem worthy of enjoying it, I guess.

The first time we've been here, there are 8 of us...so we're eating well, good service, the only thing is that just as they allow you to smoke whatever (and from what you can see they allow it inside too) behind the place they should be keep the doors closed, because it stinks and not all of us are affected by Marijuana, apart from that the place and atmosphere is very goodBTW...... it would be great if when the DJ is there they put the videos of the songs too! ?

The carne asada tacos are the best! Also, the goat tacos with sauce is excellent. Good beer as well. Very solid spot.

Been living in Hawthorne for over 10 years and have always struggled to find a Mexican spot that makes tortas the right way. I decided to give the place a shot and I'm glad I did. I ordered the asada torta and it was BOMB! The bread on this torta is perfectly toasted! The meat was fresh and nicely marinated. I was a bit taken back when I realized they put mayo and mustard on the bread but it works. There's sooo much flavor on this torta. When you order this make sure you ask for some of their salsa roja, it is next level! The employees were super friendly and attentive. I will definitely be coming back here.
