I go here very often and I loooooove the service and the chicken tacos I think this place knocks any other taco shop way out of the water. The staff are friendly and every time I go there they ask me if I want my usual and my answer is always yes please! I love this place

A great place for lunch. A half pound burger combo may be the best food value in Lemon Grove. The surf and turf burrito was amazing as well. The biggest plate of carne asada chips, I've ever seen. Don't forget the bottled Mexican cane sugar cokes. Great service and also well packaged carry out for their to go customersI give this spot five stars.A great neighborhood secret foodie spot.Parking: A strip center with lots of spots to park. Numerous businesses occupy the strip centerKid-friendliness: Kids love the atmosphere and decorations of El Cilantro.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible

I wanted to try this restaurant for breakfast this past Sunday morning. It was about noon and I walked in, no hostess available to sit me, stood at door for about 3-5 minutes none of the waitress 3 available, came up to seat me so I picked up a menu and found a table myself. It took more than 5 minutes for one of the waitress to notice me and take my order. Music was very loud, speaker was malfunction, sound was going on and off, very irritating. There were only 2tables being tended to but waitress seemed to be doing other things, consumed in conversations. I waited 40-45minutes since ordering for food, none of the waitress were taking care of anyone, they just walked back and forth to the front. I wasn't offered any chips and salsa or even water. I had ordered a coca-cola and was sipping that. I saw my food get placed at kitchen window counter and food sat there for about 10 minutes, there were about 3 cooks in kitchen, and the 3 waitrases I mentioned and one extra lady that was dressed a little bit more professional than the rest, no one took the time to bring food to my table. I just stood up and walked out, there were 2 ladies at front desk, they just watched me walk out. Didn't even ask me to pay for the soda. Worst experience at any mexican restaurant. I will never set foot at that restaurant again

I honestly like the dollar chicken tacos,but that's all that I've gotten from this place EVER! Their Chicken tacos are good! I would say I wish the service was a little better like them coming to check on you even after you've gotten your food but the vibe is nice! The staff is always kind

If you want current pricing review the menu first.I ordered Carne Asada fries outside picture says $8.99 now they charge $15. They would NOT HONOR any pricing listed outside.Mojara Frita & Soda Combo Special $6.99 is now $14 with no drink included anymore.Tacos are now $1.99 not $1.Bottled soda drinks are $5 a piece.

This place has dollar tacos AND they're delicious so I'm not sure why you're eating anything else.There's a claw machine in the back with cute stuffies that you can actually win, the kids give it a 10/10.
They are triflin as hell! My husband ordered two burritos and some tacos and we did not get out consume for our tacos or one of our burritos! It was too late to go back so he goes back the next night after work and two ladies just rolled their eyes at him and walked away! The prices are great, but the food is trash! The rolled tacos taste like they were reheated and their beans are salty! Not only that, we saw a either the owner or the manager give employees wine to drink on the job! They lack professionalism and quality food! Run, don't walk away from that place!

Really wanted to like this place but for the third time, I’ve been given carne asada FRIES when I asked for a carne asada plate. After realizing they made my order wrong it Took nearly 40 minutes before anyone answered the phone. Won’t be going back, foods dry and unseasoned anyways. Yall really need to start repeating orders if you can’t hear over the loud music

Just came here at a whim and I don't care what anyone says, the buche tacos were ???$5.99 for 4 tacos is crazy. I ate good!! I've gone to other spots around town for buche and while some places might be slightly better, the tacos are usually $2.50-$3.50 each. The value & taste here is incredible. I will be coming back for more to try out the rest of the menu
