Cute spot with indoor and outdoor eating options. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was very good - split a meat loaf sandwich and a roasted pair salad. I would recommend and I would go back to try other dishes.

My husband and I did date night last night. It was our second time here! Absolutely love it! Service each time was excellent. You can tell they see the value of providing excellent service. The food was piping hot and delicious. So happy to have such a great restaurant in our neighborhood. I hope everyone goes there to support this special place!!

Lemon Grove Bistro did not disappoint. My husband and I decided to try this place out after seeing great reviews for it. I ordered the braised short ribs, which was absolutely tender, and he had the beef bourguignon. These dishes tasted very similar with subtle differences but you can't go wrong with either one. We also ordered some bread that came with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We'll definitely be back to try the other dishes. Our server checked up on us several times and was attentive. A very nice, chill place on a Sunday night with great ambient lighting. Plenty of parking but not sure if it gets packed since it's next to the trolley tracks. So glad to have this restaurant in Lemon Grove.

This was our first time for dinner. We have been for lunch and liked it. Our table ordered Short ribs, Cioppino, Paella and Clams and Mussels. All excellent. They were busy but everything arrived in a timely manner

Such a breath of fresh air this restaurant has been for Lemon Grove! You can't go wrong with anything you choose on this delectable menu! Service is always wonderful, and staff is always welcoming. I had to control myself from wanting to lick the plate. Go outside and check out the beautiful patio!

Came here for lunch and ordered the grilled shrimp. I wish I took a photo of it because it was beautiful! Plated perfectly with wild grain rice and Brussels sprouts. It was the type of dish I like, flavorful but very fresh. The service was very good, you can tell the staff are really trying to create a good experience for everyone. I don't live in the area but if I did, I'd frequent this place often.

Between 20-30 for most entree's. The price for the quality you get is amazing.

No matter what you order, you will be delighted. A beautiful gem in Lemon Grove! Always greeted with gratitude and treated like family. The service is always prompt, responsive, AND proactive. How can you be all 3? Ask them! Some of our favs- Burgers & fries are a family fav. We've never been disappointed with the catch of the day. The soups, the salads, the pastas, the steaks, & the chicken- DELISH. Seriously you can't go wrong!

Incredible service, amazing food, and great ambiance. The owners did a great job with building out this 160 year old building. Worth the trip lemon grove!

I had heard it was pricey, but we wanted to give it a chance. They don't even give you any bread, which is really cheap and sets a mood. Bread is not expensive for restaurants to keep on hand. The place is not fancy and that makes it hard to justify the prices. The neighborhood isn't either, it's always struggling, so I can't imagine the prices are compensating for their rent. I paid $30 for FOUR total lobster raviolis, an they were good, but not $7+ per ravioli good. If I had known it would only have 4 raviolis (when let's be honest, most places are stingy with their ravioli anyway, but 4!!??) I'd have passed. I could buy a lobster for that price. It came with a half a piece of dry toast (I was told it came with a piece of bread, but ok). My husband order a burger and thought it was good, but he asked for it medium rare and it was medium. Come on you guys....the server was nice, but had to leave for "his second job" which we did not need to know and it doesn't speak highly of how much he earns there. When I waited tables I knew just to tell them we're changing shifts and someone new will serve us. When the new server came she saw me looking at the $13 desserts which I refused. A lemon bar for $13? That's a lemon brownie. There was hardly any ice in our drinks and it all melted pretty quickly, which is weird because usually restaurants are heavy on ice so you'll keep ordering more. The whole vibe here is "we don't want to last long" and that's a shame because LG needs good places to eat. They should really put some carpeting down, add more atmosphere, give their customers some bread and add some more reasonably priced items to the menu. If you aren't going to offer more food and better service for these prices, you might as well move to La Jolla and make it make sense. P.S. the second server never asked us how our meal was, she just wanted to know if she could upsell us some dessert. Not on your life.
