If you are craving aguachile DO NOT come here!!! The aguachile is not good. Very watered down and expensive for no good reason. Service was nice though. If you want good aguachile go to La Vecindad in Hillcrest.

Dined inside - cheeky decor inside a large partially cavernous room - cement floor for easy cleaning. Food was excellent and nicely presented. Pricing was higher than expected, but offerings were numerous. Flavors were spot on for the dish and each dish had a unique taste (not all the same with only a variation in the name or protein). If you go, know Spanish - everything is in Spanish and servers speak little English.

The service is gawd awful here! What does it take to get some water? The female bartender/server walked past me and literally ignored me 3 times until another guest went and stopped her for me. She was literally just walking around in a daze in and out of the kitchen. Ridiculous.The food is always good here, I love the aguachiles even if they are super overpriced

Well it's nothing like the food truck in san san ysidro where the food is hot and very fresh made on the spot however this location lacks luster. The fajitas meat and fish , chicken, beef was pre cooked and served greasy grilled veggies. The meats were dry and tough to chew and swallow . Beef was rock hard due to reheating. Chicken tasted like rubber chalk. The shrimp a real fishy taste. Just an overall mess. The help gets the stars. No complaints there.

I have been here twice. First experience was great enough to come back and second time confirmed that it was consistently good. I brought my 2 young children and waitresses and the management/owners were so kind to my children. As a parent who still wants to enjoy time out with family and listen to good music, I cannot be happier. Grateful I found this place so close to my house and I look forward to making more memories with my family.
