We took a risk on this small, primarily carryout place when we found ourselves in Livermore. It's not glamorous, sitting in a small, fairly deserted mall next to a Taco Bell, but our combo chicken/tekah kabob plates were delicious, and the service was excellent. To our surprise, Sam, the gracious man behind the counter, brought us our salads first, then our orders that included marinated, aromatic chicken and tri-tip, rice in a savory brown sauce, and Chani, a spicy green sauce. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the hot, fresh Afghan bread that came with the meal was exceptional. Despite generally avoiding spicy food, I thoroughly enjoyed the kabob but avoided the sauce. My husband did not find the kabob spicy. Price was reasonable - around $50 for two, including a drink. The service was warm and welcoming. I'm not an expert in Afghani food, but I would definitely come back here, despite the TVs and lack of decor. We had to do an errand, but wanted more bread. We arranged to come back in 10 minutes and, to our great surprise, were given a more than 24-inch loaf in a bag for $6. Wow!

Stopped in for a quick bite while we were driving thru, the pizza was absolutely delicious with a thin crisp with perfect dough texture. We both got our own king slice and they were huge! Gentleman serving us was very friendly and kind. Ambiance of a cute pizza shop. Will def stop here again if I have the chance

Went here with my co workers and found this hidden gem. We wish this was in Oakland closer to home! Sam was the man. Very kind, welcoming, and hard working. Pizza came out fresh and tasted so good. I got a kings slice not knowing that it would come out like a kings size! My bbq chicken pizza with additional toppings (very delicious) and drink cost about $15. Very well priced for the portion! It looked so good I didn't even get to snap a picture of the whole slice prior to eating it! Will be back again!

First time coming here and we ordered the afghan pizza and it was great but it was missing the meat my kids and wife still enjoyed it though. I definitely recommend trying this place. I will come back for the other options.

Came on a weekend for lunch & was pleasantly surprised by this place. It is a very unassuming joint in the midst of a strip mall. The only reason we tried it was because it featured kabobs & pizza. The dining hall is very casual. Three long rows of tables for 5-10 people ran perpendicular to the counter. Definitely set for groups. The salad bar was empty. The counter was stocked with plastic take out containers, straws, and a few melamine plates. The soda fountain stood next to it. A refrigerator behind the counter was stocked with canned soda, water, power drinks & juice. We ordered a small combination & veggie pizza, and a beef kabob plate (skewer with 6 pieces, rice & salad). Pizza was topped generously & these were very tasty, even the veggies! The crust was thin & crispy, just like we liked it. The beef kabob was tender & flavorful. The rice was cooked right & complimented the meat. We finished the pizza & took most of the kabob plate home. Service is friendly & engaged in a little conversation about the food. We enjoyed our visit. Hubby is happy we found pizza that he likes in the area!

The staff were friendly and the food was quickly prepared. I came for lunch and got a gyro and small salad for lunch which was $20 a bit pricy for subpar food. The tables inside were also dirty it was after the lunch crowd and they didn't have time to clean. My gyro tasted like I could have gotten it at the local grocery store and the salad was nothing to rave about. If I visit again ill try the pizza but I don't expect it to be anything special considering the sandwich and salad I ordered. Better than fast food if your in a pinch for options and something quick.

We didn’t even get to try the food. There was a guy in the back who kept ignoring us. I rang the bell at the counter TWICE and he asked repeatedly ignored. Rudest people.

I've been to this restaurant many times over the years. Their pizza is delicious, the wings are decent. The lamb gyro pita I had today was awful. The meat was minimal and terribly over cooked. I have yet to try the kebabs but hear they are great and will try those next time. I will steer clear of the lamb moving forward.

I came here with my wife on Halloween night, based on the favorable yelp reviews. Livermore doesn't have that many great pizza places, so we were excited to try it out. We were greeted by a very friendly guy when we entered and they took our order immediately. We had the option of using the self-serve kiosk; however, it was not programmed properly for a "half and half" pizza so we had to order at the counter. The gentleman who helped us was also quite nice and took our order. I asked him how much it would cost to do half and half and he told me not to worry about it (didn't answer my question). I asked him directly if it was the same price as three toppings (if I split it - three on each side) and again, he dodged my question. He told me to pay after we ate. The place was not busy at all, and we were the only customers there during our visit. The pizza came out exactly as we ordered it - an 18" pizza with five total toppings, four split on each side. My wife and I enjoyed their hot crisp pizza. I also appreciated that everything was halal. Whenever we needed anything, the staff were there to help. So far, it seems like it should be a four or five star review, so why the three stars? When I went to pay, I was shocked at how they overcharged me, ringing up a specialty vegetarian pizza that cost more than if they just charged for five unique toppings. Furthermore, I was forced to tip at least 15% - the screen had no option for anything else except a "custom tip" screen that wasn't working. I'm not saying I wouldn't have tipped, but I like to have a choice and not feel forced into it. Being slightly overcharged after not being told what the price was going to be and then being forced to tip feels shady and deceptive. Based on that alone, I won't return here. Their pizza is great and I have no complaints about it, but their billing practices need improvement. They should be transparent about how much it is going to cost upfront. Sorry, but you lost a customer this way. I walked out of there paying nearly $50 for a pizza (yes $50!) - the most I've ever spent on one in years. I
