The food is very disappointing. Had a bland pasta dish last time. This time I tried the tritip sandwich. It was very soggy and didn’t taste great. My friend had the fish and chips which were bad fish sticks. Service was adequate but not great.

We weren't very hungry, just wanted a place to visit and catch up, so we only got soup and appetizers. The tomato bisque was fabulous! appetizers also good and very filling! Bubbles made the lunch perfect!

Garre is always a treat. Food is very good and the ambience is very welcoming. I've tried most items on the menu and have never been disappointed. Nonna's gravy really hit the spot on a cold, damp night!

After a day of wine tasting at Livermore Wineries (including Garre), always a great eatery to sit and relax and enjoy my favorite item a beet salad! Nice weather, sit out side and enjoy.... Plenty other terrific dishes too..... Have a glass of wine also!?

We have had lunch here many times. The service is always really good. The food is o.k. to good, depending on what you order. The ambience is great outside, and nice inside, again depending on where you sit. The spicey margarita is a group favorite, but we had a really nice red last week. All in all, we enjoy and keep coming back!

We came for my mother-in-law's birthday. The place was very crowded and loud on a Saturday afternoon. Our server was very friendly and took good care of us. Unfotunately the food was just okay. Our baked brie appetizer was not very flavorful. My portabello mushroom sandwich kind of mushy and disappointing as well. Fries were good though-and we love their sparking wine.

Our waiter (Trevor) was horrible and it put a damper on the entire experience. We waited 15 mins to get our drink order, he got our order wrong, never checked on our meal. He had an arrogance about him and seemed not to care. Food and wine was great, but beware.

Food was very good - Cobb salads had lots of grilled chicken and fellow diner said his seafood pasta was excellent. Service was fine but waiter didn't check back and we had to flag someone for more dressings. Also empty plates sat on table for quite some time, although it wasn't busy. These are small items and I would return, nice ambiance with the vineyards. It would also be nice to have more white wines available by the glass.
My sister and I celebrated our birthdays at Garre's winery this weekend. Because of the rain we couldn't be seated outside. Raquel was able to book us at one of their tasting rooms. She was super sweet. She also suggested for us to book at the cafe after for cake and dinner. Carlos, who works at the cafe was able to book us for a party of 12. Their service is great, the ambiance is nice. I'm so glad and thankful that I didn't have to cancel my birthday plans because of this weather and they were able to accommodate us... will definitely be going back. Thank you Raquel for being so sweet and helpful.

Very expensive for subpar food. The service was pretty poor too. Also, the amount they charged was more than what was on the menu for at least one of our meals.

Several waitresses and our waitress spent a lot of time in the back socializing. When we were ordering our food, our waitress said she be back in a minute, stopped taking our order, and went to the back socializing again. Returned 15 minutes later after waving her down. Food was good but service was pretty bad!
