Gong Cha has these adorable Gingerbread man bottles for the holidays and I love them! I've been saving them too, to repurpose for Christmas parties/Christmas gifts! I've tried a bunch of the different flavors but as you can see from the photos, Taro is my favorite flavor at Gong Cha so far! Been back a bunch of times to get them when I'm in the area! The staff here is always friendly and the drinks are made quickly! I always order ahead on the website, and it's nice it'll give ya points for your purchase too. If your in the livermore area this is definitely a great spot for tea especially with these cute cups for the holidays! I walked over to the outlets to take pics with the Christmas tree etc as a cute backdrop for it! These cups are $7!

Keep coming back to this place even though there's other boba places around. Their customer service is always superb. They always will greet you with a smile.

Bruh, I asked for ZERO Sugar still came out to about 100% regular sweetness of most other boba places.Other drink I got at 50% was about 150% (extra sweet)Crazy. Place looked clean but smelled like dirty rags and trash cans that should have been taken out about 3 days ago....had this generic vibe and highly industrial. Can't really comment too much to the service but feel like it sorta ties into the drink quality. The drink maker didn't speak much English and therefore maybe didn't understand how to make the drinks or read how much sugar to put but who knows, just dissatisfied how undrinkable and watered down my beverage was yet super sweet at the same time. I've tried several other Gong Cha locations and they've all been par at best, maybe I'm just trying to find that one item that taste good and so far I haven't yet.

Best customer service goes to Ben for replacing our Boba drink after the cup crack (not any fault of Gong Cha).

I needed to claim a free drink at Gong Cha so again, this was the closest Gong Cha on my way home. I've never been to this one as it's pretty far from me. But if you're in the East Dublin/near the Livermore Outlets aka San Francisco Outlets, then this is a good option for boba.L O C A T I O NGong Cha is located in a plaza right across from the outlets. Parking was plentiful and I easily parked in front.I N S I D EThere are a couple booths and some seating inside if you'd like to sit inside and work or hang out. There is an interesting smell when you first enter. I'm not sure if it's just the smell of bleach and cleaning but you get used to it.M E N UGong Cha's menu is the same as all the other Gong Chas but they're known for their "mustache" tea which is their milk foam drinks. I really loved it when they had a matcha milk foam and I put it on top of the strawberry milk tea. It was GREAT. They got rid of it. So I'm bummed. But they did have a seasonal drink that I ended up getting which was the Strawberry Matcha with Milk Foam. The ice level was not adjustable but sugar was. Even at 30% it was really sweet for me, so I ended up adding more ice when I got home. The Strawberry Matcha Milk Foam is great. I loved the drink. I wish they displayed the prices for the special seasonal drinks but know it's definitely pricey. Anyway, I didn't mind as I had a $5 off reward so I paid a fraction of the price. I didn't get any toppings so I don't know if I could really fully review this place without getting the boba, but I'll definitely get boba next time if I ever make it out here again. But for the drink I got, even though super sweet. Was made well and I thoroughly enjoyed it.S E R V I C EGreat. Fabulous. Very friendly and courteous and even let me know that ice unfortunately could not be adjusted and hope that it was going to be ok. I appreciated how nice they were. Drinks were made in a timely manner and I Was off on my merry way.O V E R A L LA pretty solid Gong Cha experience. Great staff and drink was good. I'll have to revisit and get boba to fully review this place. But for boba in the area as there are a lot of them here these days. It's a good spot to pick up a refreshing drink.

Best drinks I've had in the area. I Ordered the brown sugar milk tea. It was perfect, I almost drank it all in less than 5 minutes. Inside is spacious and friendly staff.Perfect place to go for a quick refreshment after shopping.

My hubby came here for a coffee and took a couple of sips. I finished it. Did not like it much. It was made with a machine of some sort and if you want coffee, just go elsewhere, and get a proper cup of joe. It's worth it, unless you like disappointment - then this place would be fine.

Traditional tea milk establishments can be a dime a dozen these days as there seems to be so many different franchises especially in the Bay Area. What makes Gong Cha stand out from all of the rest is simply the ease of ordering, in addition to the vast amount of beverages that their menu contains. Gong Cha, which in Chinese translates to "tribute tea for the emperor," originated in the original home of bubble tea, Taiwan, in 2006 and six years later finally arrived in the United States. With this newer location in a shopping center at The Shops at Livermore, directly across the street from the San Francisco Premium Outlets, Gong Cha certainly knows that opening here was key to successfully gaining the local shoppers tired of waiting in line at the crowded outlet center. It is this reason that led me here on a recent warm day as I was quite parched and looking for a little sustenance to quench my thirst. After reviewing options on all of the bubble tea shops in the area via my trusty Yelp, I found that Gong Cha was a mere block away from the shopping center and sounded reasonable considering so many other boba shops, especially those within the outlet grounds, had lines as far as the eye could see. I knew that would not be the case at Gong Cha, as they are not only located in a shopping center that did not have nearly as many customers, and the fact that their location was tucked away made all the difference. The menu at this location of Gong Cha has beverage categories including Milk Foam, Creative Mix, Fresh Milk, Brewed Tea, Milk Tea, Coffee, Smoothie, Sparkling and Snacks. At this location, counter ordering from their in store associates is the way to go, and they have a nice addendum on their counter that helps to explain how to order, and a sign that includes their top drinks. You choose your drink, pick a size, pick a sweetness level, pick an ice cube level, and select any toppings you may want. I opted to order a Large Strawberry Milk Smoothie, with a 50 percent sweetness and ice, and a boba pearl topping for an additional 65 cents. My total bill was $6.90 before tip, which for boba tea drinks in this day and age is the norm. My drink was called out in mere minutes and I was already out the door sipping on my drink. And after a first sip, I immediately began to realize that my Strawberry Milk Smoothie tasted as if it were a cup of Strawberry Milk and I don't mean a Strawberry Milkshake as there was no ice cream in my beverage. So I kind of left disappointed with the flavor I chose, more in myself for picking this drink, rather than one of their signature drinks including their Passionfruit Green Tea or their Thai Ice Tea, which are two options that you cannot go wrong with. Overall the drink was fine, as the sweetness was on point, and the boba pearls were decent, just not as exceptional as I hoped it would be. In any case, Gong Cha has a lot of good options for bubble tea lovers, as they are fast, ordering is convenient and the prices are competitive. It's important to not get in your head too much over what to order as most of their drinks seem to be well composed, as there wasn't a huge line to order and receive your drinks, but they seemed popular enough with a steady stream of customers as I waited for my drink to be completed. Would I come again, it depends as they have a number of boba choices in the one mile radius that makes up the shops, outlets, and a third shopping center that is the Pacific Pearl that also has bubble tea options. Still, I'm happy that Gong Cha chose to open another location here in the Bay Area, as they are still in their expansion phase of their no doubt increased presence here. The philosophy of Gong Cha reads as "To inspire the human spirit and create happiness." Their presence alone here in Livermore ensures this philosophy is achieved.

I treated myself to a delicious hot milk tea with boba and crème brûlée topping. O.M.G! Dangerously yummy. I loved that I waited until the end to try the crème brûlée. So worth it, a fun surprise. I was questioning it as a silly new gimmick to stand out. I was pleasantly surprised and stand corrected. ...This place could be addictive, if I'm not careful.

Pretty good, though I will say this is a mid Gong cha location. The one in San Jose is considerably better. I go the premium Jasmine Green Milk Tea with tapioca, and it tasted alright. I'll say the boba is definitely a step up T4, but the taste itself is ... quite watered down. I think I'd rather have milk tea from T4, but the tapioca from Gong Cha. If their forces united, they could be powerful, but for now, they're both mediocre in their own ways.
