Had a bad experience where I told the wait-staff that I was vegetarian. But when I got my tofu pho, the soup was a beef base. Then they tried to change it. But it still tasted like beef so I ask for something else if of which was not soup based.

La's was great! Unfortunately CLOSED for good (checked 06/23/2019). Bummer. Will reopen as VOASIAN, Vietnamese food and Boba tea. Date TBD.

Love the simple clean decorations and even enjoy their limited menu. The portion sizes are on the smaller side, their large Pho is roughly the same size as a medium from your typical Pho places. The food is tasty and prices are good, per person it's about $15. I keep forgetting they have Vietnamese sandwiches, I'll eventually try the sandwiches. As one of my Vietnamese friends used to say, greasy equals tasty and this place like the interior is more on the clean side. The food is flavorful and the plating is very nice but it's definitely not my favorite Vietnamese place, but I am so glad to have it as an option near my work. The grilled pork is good, pho also hearty and good but so far what has stood out is their beef stew which was thick, hearty and tasty. Service is always prompt and done with a smile.

The broth of any Pho makes or breaks this Asian favorite. La's Kitchen most definitely makes it and then some. The first slurp of my Beef combination Pho Noodle soup was perfect especially on this cold rainy day. It was flavorful, aromatic and oh so good. Service was quick and very friendly. We will definitely be back and become regulars.

We were going to eat at the sushi place next door but it was closed. Since we were really hungry, we took a chance on La's Kitchen. This restaurant offers some good homey Asian food(Vietnamese and Thai). The pho had a standard broth and pretty generous amount of meat. Pad Thai was very good. The Shaking Beef tasted authentic but it was interesting that they served it with French fries. This appears to be a family run restaurant. Service was fast and attentive. Prices are very reasonable. Glad that we rolled upon this eatery!

This place is relatively new but already getting some decent reviews, so I thought I should give to a shot. It is definitely a split between Thai and Vietnamese food with menu items representative of both. I ordered spring rolls and Thai fried rice. The spring rolls were fresh and flavorful, but that's my only compliment. The Thai fried rice was literally made with frozen vegall...you know, peas, carpets, green beans, limes beans and corn. The pork and shrimp in it had no flavor. The rice had very little flavor and was dry. Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm used to Thai food being spicy and flavorful. This place will not last with dishe like that. I hope the other Thai and Vietnamese food they serve is better. Good luck.

Not bad , not great. I'll eat there again because it's close to my house. Went at 815 pm when they close at 9. Saturday night mind you. Were kinda rushed and didn't allow to order certain appetizers. I get it that Livermore can be slow at night here but dang it's Sat night. I won't refuse to go back but won't be a top 20 choice either. I guess I'd say the food was decent. I hope this helps as I just try to give honest reviews based on my own experiences at places. Just felt they could've done better.

A bit out of the way for me, but I always have to try a new pho place, and it didn't disappoint! I usually get the beef stew or combo seafood.... since La's serves neither, I opted for the chicken and wow! It was the best I've ever had! The broth was out of this world and the mixed chicken (white and dark) was so tender and flavorful! I'll be making the truck out again...

Had the banh mi. Bread was good, fillings very ordinary and not very plentiful

I came on a Wednesday and ordered beef noodle soup. The soup tasted like it was made that morning. It was very hot as though it's been warming on the stove waiting for me. The large size could be a little bit bigger for the price, $12. The flavoring was authentic however. Another important thing for me was how fast my food came. It took about 5 min or less before my food arrive. Maybe other menu items may take longer to make but I think the beef noodle was already made and less time was needed to assemble the bowl. If you're pressed for time you should order the beef noodle. The restaurant is nice and clean. It doesn't have a greasy feel. There're plenty of seats and you can decide where to sit. It's a good place to eat with friends, not too loud so you can talk. They should add "Pho" to their restaurant name to attract more customers. They could definitely make beef noodle their specialty and attract customers that way. Of course I'd like the price to be about $10 for a large bowl.

Premium Vietnamese food, including the price. I have lived in San Jose where you can get a cheap bowl of Pho for $8. This place uses premium ingredients, large portions, which also comes with an expected price bump. One pho dish shocked me at $17, bit I'd get it again.

Not to the level of most South Bay Vietnamese restaurants, but pretty good for a quick rice plate fix. Pork and chicken are good.

It was such a cold day for this so cal girl that I wanted to get Pho. I was in the area for work (well actually in Pleasanton but I digress) and the place I've been to before near by was closed because it was Monday. I was taking one of my employees out for lunch. I would say this more fast casual than a sit down restaurant. You order at the counter, and then sit down with a number and they bring the food to you. My pho was really good. The egg rolls were okay but I do wish they were deep fried. It looked more like they were baked or air fried. Maybe pan fried? I don't know. They were tasty but not what I was looking for. It is a bit out of the way for us since we have to get on the freeway for quite a few exits from the office but since they are open all week it might just be my go to place when I want pho and it's a monday.
