Azul is a whole vibe if you allow it to be. My wife, some friends and myself entered on a cold rainy day thinking we should have chosen another place as it was slow at the time. The manager, MJ. Overheard us and we joked about it all night. We were there about 5 hours and didn't want to leave as the ambiance was perfect for a chill night out with friends or even a date night. Stephanie at the bar was superb with the drinks and the personality. The food was awesome. The enchiladas were great but too hot on the pepper heat side. We ordered the Pork Belly Tacos and were blown away by the flavor. Over all we had an amazing time from the laughs with the staff, the laughs with each other, the service food and drinks.. WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

Great food and great drinks! I got the wet burrito and a couple different margaritas (jalapeno-pineapple and kiwi-strawberry) and everything tasted amazing. The spicy margaritas was definitely a little spicier than some other places so be aware of that if you're not keen on spice but I personally loved it. The place itself is on the smaller side and has an extensive collection of really cool tequila bottles on the back wall.

This place is everything from great food and drinks. The owner is amazing and the the staff is friendly and helpful . Definitely a great place for food and drinks and great vibes. It's a must to come to.

Please update your hours online. First time I came they were closed on a day it’s listed as open online and on their store front. Second time coming here with friends and this time the lady said they decided to close early. Boo ??????

We had happy hour here and enjoyed the front patio with fire pit to check out the Xmas scene. Had a couple beers each and an app. Got the check and discovered the server had rang everything up at full price. Owner/chef was very annoyed that we expected to be refunded the difference and made a big deal out of it making the situation (that his employee created) awkward and uncomfortable. Double check your bill if doing happy hour! Responding to Azul: the point is not the money. Thank you for comping us that $25 dollars! The point was your attitude. You were changing more than you advertised, made us feel bad for your mistake, and we are just letting people know they should be careful when they come to your restaurant for happy hour (or maybe any hour).

Visited this place last night with my fiance. We wanted to try a restaurant we've never been to so we decided to stop by Azul. Of course we looked at the menu online before we stopped in just to make sure we knew what we wanted to try. As soon as we walked in we were Greeted! The place is small but very welcoming and cozy. There's a full bar to the left and several tables along the wall and two tables near the window which is where we set. Right off the bat we wanted to try one of their Margarita flights. The presentation of it was really nice. The order: 1. Margarita Flight 2. Mexican Bruschetta 3. Veggie Nachos 4. Red Veggie Enchiladas 5. Heather Crunch Wrap (Asada) The waitress that greeted us is also the waitress that seated us and took our orders! Her name is Stephanie, she was awesome from the very beginning. We would definitely come back because of her! She took all of our orders and not once wrote anything down, that's how good she is. We got exactly what we asked for, Give this girl a raise! The Food was delicious, the veggie nachos were good & even though they had no meat the explosion of flavors were great! The Red Veggie Enchiladas covered in their red sauce amazingly delicious! The Crunch wrap was also good. The meat very well seasoned! Their Mexican Bruchetta was also very tasty! The atmosphere inside is very chill relaxing. It's a good place to have a nice date or to hang out with friends and have a couple of drinks! They have big TVs to watch games and whatever is current! Would I come back again. Absolutely! came here for a quick bite to eat before the rest of the party went wine tasting and I left for another lil weekend party. They were the only ones who were open without any wait. So we got seated right away and ordered some shots to get warmed up. Then we ordered some brunch plates. I think I ended up ordering the bfast burrito or french toast. However, they have plenty of great options to chose from such as waffles, chilaquiles, other burritos + more! Food was delish and made fresh to order. It was nice warm and tasty when they brought everything out for us. Service was great and cant wait to come back to azul for some good drinks and brunch!

I've had Azul on my must try list for about 8 months hahah we finally for the chance to go after being in the Bay Area for a little last weekend. It's really in the downtown area mixed in with all the shops, restaurants, and breweries so it's a nice little walk plus you can go shopping before or after eating. I ordered the margarita flight which's come with 4 different flavors and it was a little over $30. I also got the wet burrito which I was told by the server had their mole sauce which was fire. It looked like they had a full bar and from the looks of their menu I can tell they're known for their drinks. Always love coming back to Livermore and can't wait to come back and try some other drinks.

Not real mexican food it looks more like canned beans and I asked for grilled chicken man it was salty justlil rounded chicken I'll never eat there
The ambiance was fun. The food was not good at all, and small portions. I ordered a burrito bowl, a chipotle bowl was more filling and tasted better. The drinks were also not good at all. I have also never been to a mexican restaurant where you had to pay for chips and salsa; that was also kind of disappointing.I dont plan on coming back.

we were there with a couple of ladies. we ordered a few drinks but after trying to order a shot one of the waiter told us that we had consumed enough already that she was going to ask the bar tender if she would be able to sell us more. we had only consumed two cocktail drinks each. we notice at one of the tables there were a few ladies that had consumed way more than we did and she continued to service them more cocktail drinks. I can definitely say that we were discriminated due to us being Mexican. Just to let you know we paid over $300 for a few drinks at appetizers. I can definitely say that we will not be back to thus place. There were two ladies working an older lady and a you g lady. the young lady was super nice and apologized for her co-workers behavior
