I ordered their large magherita pizza with pepperoni. It was supposed to feed 4-5 people. When I opened the to go box, it was a sad, thin, unappealing looking pizza that tasted worse than pizza at a horrible buffet. Red Barron or Digiorno's pizza would have been better and cheaper than the $34 + tip that was paid. Suffice to say, everyone was disappointed and we were left hungry. I've tried their deep dish pizza before (at a different location) and that was good. Not sure if it's just an off day but we won't be back.

Great company, friendly service and good food. What's not to like?! The three of us had not been to Patxi's in several years so we were hoping they still serve up a good meal. The restaurant had opened at 11:30 and we walked in after watching some entertainment going on in front of the Bankhead. Other than a large party coming in for a celebration, the place was not crowded for a Saturday afternoon. The hostess greeted us and asked if we would like to sit at a tall table or a booth. We chose a booth which we found to be quite spacious. Menus and little glasses of water were brought to us promptly. Our server was gracious and sweet and he explained the pizza lunch combos. We ordered two lunch specials which consisted of a slice of pizza and choice of salad and our other friend ordered the burrata caprese sandwich (burrata, tomato, basil pesto, red onion on herb focaccia). I mentioned that there used to be an arugula salad that I still remember to this day, but I noticed it was no longer offered. Our server said they could still make it for us even though it is no longer on the menu. Sweet! My friend and I ordered the deep dish spinach and mushroom slice along with the arugula salad. The salads arrived quickly and it was a good-sized, beautiful salad with grated cheese on top. The arugula was impressively fresh! The server offered freshly ground pepper which was the perfect addition. The table behind us had ordered side Caesar salads and they looked delicious too. We enjoyed our meals and had no leftovers! Should you need a party room, they have a separate dining area next to the main dining room where the large group was celebrating their party. It was private with lots of windows to the outside. Street parking is tight especially on weekends but there is a large parking structure on the north side of First Street on Railroad. I always park on or near McLeod Street.

Went on a Friday early evening to sit on the patio. It was not crowded by any means. My husband and I sat for 15 minutes and nobody even acknowledged us so we unfortunately left and had to find somewhere else for dinner. The server did greet the table behind us though.

Favorite is the Matt Cain deep dish pizza ( now called meat lovers pizza) The butter lettuce salad is a great choice with their delicious dressing . Lunch specials include a slice of pizza and soup or salad . Great choice to get your favorites for a quick lunch .

I placed order for pick up for kids pizza and some other items. Agreed on price and when I was about to start from home to pick up the order, Manager called and said that they cannot make 6 inches pizza and I would have to buy 10 inches pizza and pay extra for that. When I told them that kids won’t be able to finish that much pizza and they should make 10 inches pizza in same price. They blatantly refused. I think this example of bad customer experience. They took order, then they could not make it due to issues on their side and they changed order and expected customer to pay for their issues. Very disappointed.

They never have people, one server jumps between kitchen, bar and outdoor, its always painful, every freaking time.

Ordered two deep dish pizzas from Paxti's and they were probably some of the worst pizza I've had in a long time. I've ordered from Paxti's many times before and honestly I don't know what has happened to this place because the pizza used to be good. Calling this deep dish now is a joke since a regular pizza from Mountain Mikes is thicker (photo attached) than these were and the two pizzas were over $60. A complete waste of money. In the past one slice was a meal, now maybe three slices might be equivalent. It seems the management is joining the bandwagon of post-pandemic price gouging and shrinkflation. Sorry guys, you'll never get another dollar of my money, there are much better options that don't want to rip people off.

Was very excited to try the chicken tikka masala deep dish, which was supposed to have roasted garlic in it, but what it actually had was about 30, uncooked WHOLE cloves of garlic. I'd generally consider myself a garlic lover, but this, Patxi's is too far, my friend. Roast that stuff in the oven first and THEN use it as a companion to the Chicken Tikka. This wasn't advertised as a Raw Garlic pizza (with notes of Chicken Tikka Masala).

Quality is not like it was for an expensive pizza. Very little sauce and toppings almost like they ran out of them.

Patxi's is our go-to fancy pizza place in town. Service is generally very good, atmosphere is excellent, pizza and cocktails are very good. Try the chicken tikka pizza; you won't regret it.

When making vegan-friendly options, non-vegan restaurants without a diverse taste pallet may rely heavily on these ostensible taste dependencies: fake cheeses, fake meats, oil and sugar, discounting all of the rich and natural flavors that come from plants in the form of vegetables, fruits, and seasonings. I've had pizza twice from Patxi's. I don't think the owners understand the importance of adding other taste profiles on a vegan pizza because both times it's just a oily & cakey fudge of a bread patty with an over-reliance on fake cheese and sugary tomato paste. I love Chicago-style pizza as I've literally had it straight from the windy city! But the taste is just not curated well at Patxi's. Honestly, I'd rather order from papa john's or 1st class pizza nearby. Locanda Wine Bar downtown livermore understands the balance between fats and carbs as well (but their vegan options lack - you have to have them customize a meal). I love a good deep dish pizza! We were seated right away and greeted for drinks. We ordered a salad to share and a large deep dish pizza. The salad came out right away and the pizza wasn't far behind. Don't sleep on the honey they put on the table!

This place has really gone downhill. Our pickup orders have been missing items the last 3 times. 18$ salad is maybe worth 4$. Pretty sad, used to be so awesome. We’re done giving them the benefit of the doubt.
