Sangeeta's Livermore is a great place to go for delicious Indian vegetarian food. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from, but my favorites are the dosa, idli, badam milk, and mango lassi. The dosa is a thin crepe made from fermented rice and lentil batter. It is typically served with sambar (a lentil and vegetable stew) and chutneys (a variety of savory and sweet sauces). The dosa at Sangeeta's is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The sambar is flavorful and the chutneys are delicious. The idli is a steamed cake made from fermented rice and lentil batter. It is typically served with sambar and chutneys. The idli at Sangeeta's is light and fluffy, and the sambar and chutneys are just as delicious as they are with the dosa. The badam milk is a sweet milk drink made with almonds, milk, sugar, and spices. It is a refreshing and delicious drink that is perfect for a hot day. The badam milk at Sangeeta's is rich and creamy, and it is the perfect way to cool off on a hot day.The mango lassi is a sweet yogurt drink made with mangoes, yogurt, sugar, and spices. It is a refreshing and delicious drink that is perfect for a hot day. The mango lassi at Sangeeta's is thick and creamy, and it is the perfect way to cool off on a hot day.Overall, I highly recommend Sangeeta's Livermore for delicious Indian vegetarian food. Dosa ordered was very tasty.. It was served on our table in no time.. Very prompt service... If they can improve the atmosphere a little more..i think that will be great.

Absolutely amazing and fresh South Indian food in Livermore. The food is authentic and the staff is polite and friendly. Since my first order at sangeetha a month ago, we have reordered at least 5 times. My family is officially a Sangeetha fan! I would highly recommend the restaurant for South Indian cuisine.

We recently visited Sangheetha and worst food experience. Their Kara dosa has just red chili powder (no other taste) and super super spicy that we couldn't finish after few bites ( Btw my spice level is 9 out 10 still couldn't eat ) They have only two chutneys ( tomato and coconut ) both chutneys and sambhar are just taste less . On top of that , Their restroom is disgusting and we used their neighbor restaurant's restroom. Will never visit this restaurant again.Reply to Pradeep,Hi Pradeep ,Not about only Kara dosa spice level but chutneys and sambhar are completely tasteless and when we complained about restroom , counter rep's response was not good .

It is almost like a self service joint here in Livermore.....just that they bring the food at your table. Overly priced for sub-standard food. I am surprised to see an overall rating of 4.5. I have been there many times ...only because on certain days we are vegetarian and this is the closest place to get something desi vegetarian to eat in Livermore. So 2 of the 3 stars are actually for location and convenience

Context - SVG is a food chain from Tamil Nadu. I visited one of their branches in Chennai and was very excited to see a SVG in the bay area. This restaurant doesn't reflect the scale of the SVG. It is a small strip mall restaurant with few seatings and limited staff. Service - The order has to be placed with the cashier. The kitchen staff brings the food to the table. If you need anything you will have to walk to the cashier for it. Food - The dosa, vada, and sambar were cold. The dosa was dense instead of crispy. The sambar was thick and flavorful but not warm. The coconut and ginger chutney were delicious. The masala in the dosa was cold as well. Price - Very expensive for the self-serve service model and food quality. Ate here because of the good experience I had in Chennai but will not be returning due to lackluster food at an exorbitant price. Ambiance - They have pictures of food vendors in Chennai on the wall and the TV plays South Indian music. The seating is modular so they can seat large and medium size parties.

We visited this place couple of times with our friends. Service is very fast . You will get good south indian breakfast from here.

Amazing food at this place! When they say the food will be spicy, it will be really extremely spicy. We got Kara Dosa which was very spicy, it has red chilli paste inside it. Then we got rasam vada which was heavenly and not too spicy. We also tried Special Rava Masala Dosa, this was extremely spicy too, it had a lot of chopped green chillies in it. The owner is biased in a way we haven't experienced before but the staff is cool. Might just get takeout next time

We've ordered masala Dosa and idly sambar. Only idly was good, aloo masala in the dosa was not good (old/rotten), we threwed away the dosa and sambar was not so good.. it was ok-ok but we didn't felt it was fresh either. Probably it is one of the day but it may be good other days, but hard for us to order from this restaurant again.

Food is very fresh and good in taste. Onion Rava masala dosa is must to try. Tifin combo have variety but all of them are good.

Decent price and good taste. We did take out but it's better to dine in to enjoy the crispiness of the dosa

One of the best South Indian restaurants that I have been to. Everything here is delicious as it would be in India. Very authentic food and great customer service as well. My favorite was masala dosa and Bonda.

Awesome ghee dosa and filter coffee. Quick and efficient service. Had fun conversations with the person who took our orders and our waiter.

Family of four ordered dosas. Dosas tasted ok, however the onion rava masala dosa and kids dosa was not done well. Could feel the soft batter around the edges. The red chutney went bad. Upon reporting, received a vague response. Overall, it's not a place we would visit a second time.
