My wife and I went there on a Monday about 3 weeks ago. We both ordered lasagna. It took longer than normal for our food to be served. During our wait, the waiter came over several times to apologize and see if we needed anything. When the food came at last, it was delicious. When we got the check, they had comped us one of the meals. We didn't have to ask or even complain. That was a very thoughtful and kind gesture on their part.

Salmon risotto was a little bland, but with salt & pepper was very good.A little disappointed with the tiramisu. I couldn't taste the brandy or cinnamon. The chocolate overwhelmed the entire dessert. It was good but I want to enjoy the layers of flavor in my favorite dessert.

Horrible. A toaster waffle that was inedible, twice. Replaced by a commercial muffin wrapped in cellophane. Pasta drenched in gooey sauce.
Beware of their Rigatoni Bolognese. It is not a hearty red meat sauce. It is a creamy parmesan sauce (more like a vodka sauce than a marinara) with grains of meat sprinkled sparingly through the pasta. We ordered from Catering for a party thinking this would be the main course. It was more like a side dish.We asked for their description to be changed or add a photo to menu to help when ordering.We enjoy their restaurant and will return but will make a different choice for our catering needs.

We caught them on a bad day. The staff was inattentive. Got order wrong. Never brought an ordered drink. Never brought even when we caught the eye of the manager and told him. Salad was drenched with at least a bottle of balsamic. Food was unremarkable. Would not come back to this location.

I like going to Striizzi's. The ambience is nice and service is usually good. Last time I was there, I had spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were barely warm. The sauce was thin, almost watery. The sauce tasted weird, too sweet. And all for the low low price of $25.

One disappointment - when we got there, all tables were full. We were seated at a high/small bar table with stools. I never expect to be seated in the bar when I have a table reservation. The hostess did move us to a table when one vacated but that was after some time - we had already been served drinks and appetizer. We appreciated that but thought the whole thing was handled poorly. We did like the food/service/waiter.
