First of all, I don't normally write reviews unless the food or product is unacceptable. I'll start with the phone order. I called in for a breakfast burrito and ordered it exactly as posted on the sign in front of the cashier approximately 25 Min before I arrived. When I walked up to the register, they were discussing my order. It had me thinking "why is she asking as if it wasn't written" and going off memory. Well needless to say, they made it wrong. There was no potatoes, rice was added when its not an item on the menu for their breakfast burritos, the chorizo and the egg were burnt, and the chorizo wasn't even cooked into the egg. Finally, I called to let them know my dissatisfaction, and they acknowledged there were no potatoes and said to let her know and she'll make the food correct next time. Really? Didn't even offer a refund or to come back to exchange it.

I had the opportunity to try Tacoguacamole with my coworkers a few days ago. The cashier was really nice and gave us some great menu suggestions. The California Burrito with Chicken, served wet-style with red sauce, was really good. The red sauce, as well as the salsa they use, tasted like it's from a special secret recipe. The salsa was so good that it truly brought the burrito together. The burrito cost about $14, but it was hearty and very filling. I believe there were even French fries in my burrito, which I wasn't expecting, but they added to its heartiness. As a to-go food spot, I'd probably rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars. I'm only taking off a bit for the price, but I understand that everything is getting more expensive these days and there isn't much we can do about it. Plus, I'm aware that avocados are fairly expensive on their own.As a sit-down place, I'd rate it 4 out of 5 stars. While the burrito was impressive, sitting in a gas station felt odd. There's no clear separation between Tacoguacamole and the gas station, so you can't enjoy adult beverages since the restaurant is technically still part of the gas station. There were also a few annoying flies around, but I believe that's due to the frequent foot traffic in and out of the gas station entrance. Still, it affects the overall experience, so I felt it was worth mentioning in my review.Next time, I might try the tacos. I saw someone at another table order several, and they looked pretty tempting. In summary, while Tacoguacamole has some environmental challenges owing to its location, the quality of the food is undeniable. It's a place worth trying, especially for those on the go.

Food is really good. Definitely worth giving a try. I was skeptical at first being in a gas station, but I rank it as some of the best Mexican available in Livermore.
