We drove out here Sunday to wine taste and we were greeted by Nancy and she took us to this beautiful outdoor table where she explained everything to us and all of our choices. Nancy knew the different wines and where the grapes were grown for each wine! The wines were delicious with so many different flavors that complimented the beautiful day and the incredible grounds at Wente'! Such an amazing day out and about! Thank you Nancy and Wente for making our day extremely memorable! Cheers!

Nice winery located in Livermore. Before coming here, I had no idea there were vineyards here! We didn't have a reservation and were seated at a high top in the tasting room. Our server, Jack, was very knowledgeable about the wine and the local area which was great! We even got to try sparkling wine when I said that was typically my favorite! Tastings usually run $30 or $40, depending on which option you select. We had a great time and I would definitely return!

We really enjoyed our visit to Wente. We arrived and were seated immediately despite it being relatively full for a rainy day. Once we were seated, they brought around the menu and the person who assisted us gave us helpful info on all the wines that came with our flight. He also assisted us on finding a less expensive alternative to a wine my husband had tried which our pockets appreciated lol. After our flight we walked across the way to their grill where we had the BEST artichoke dip. Honestly, im still thinking about it and would return just for that. I also appreciated that they allowed me to switch out the beef patty in the burger for a black bean patty. It is such a beautiful property and if you are in the area i think its a great starting or ending place because of the opportunity to also eat and soak up some of the alcohol.

Did you know that Wente predates the Napa Valley in terms of California wine making? I had a "team building" exercise that meant a trip to Wente for a full tour, tasting and lunch. I had been before for tasting so I looked forward to this full on experience. If you haven't been on a full tour - DO IT. If you like wine and want to learn more it is worth the time. I'm not sure what the cost is, but I'd pay to do it again. So much history in this winery. They explain everything and take you into all aspects of the winery. Fun tidbits oh history are offered up frequently which is like being in a History channel documentary. During prohibition the winery survived. They switched to making vinegar and had a small export business to Europe. The original building that started the winery is still standing and very much in use. The French oak barrels that they use are $800/ea! How's the wine? Guess that's an important part of this review.. The wine is damn good. They have some great reds. I'm not much of a white drinker so I really can't comment because none of them left an impression. The location itself is quite lovely. They have a great restaurant. They do the summer concert series which I don't attend because I'm a bit young for the target audience so there isn't much appeal. If you're into the music that happens - go. My parents and their friends love the concerts. Go to the gift shop. Purchase their Smokey Garlic Mustard. My lord is that stuff yummy. So is their Jalapeno. You can taste them all while you're there to see what I mean. I need to pick up some more soon. Livermore Valley is an area that people don't really associate with wine, but is slowly getting more and more attention. This is a great afternoon excursion without the drive to Napa for excellent wines. There are several other wineries along Tesla so make a day of things and explore Livermore's offerings!

Beautiful location for a weekend escape and you don't have to go all the way to Napa. Excellent staff, wine, food choices and venue for events

Came with a group of 6 coworkers for a bit of a happy hour and we all had a great time! The sharing boards were nice and the wines were all so good - especially the orange muscat (very unique). Our server was happy to chat and share the history of the winery and accompany us through tasting our wines which was very nice.Note on location: We were in Pleasanton for business and wanted to get away on our last day for a little wine tasting. We went in Uber and started to realize how far it seemed from anything and were concerned about getting an uber back - which our driver seemed to think would be a problem as well. He was nice enough to give us his number in case we couldn't find anything - however we did and were able to get back without any problems. That said if you do have your own transportation that might be a safe bet.

I had high hopes for the experience here. Unfortunately, I would only rate it as a bit above average. We dined outside at the clubhouse grill and then ventured over to the tasting room. The grounds and lounges are lovely - not a bad view anywhere on the property. We had the pulled pork tacos which were delicious!I didn’t rate it too high due to the tasting room experience. Our server was very nice, and the wines were pretty good. However, the pours stuck strictly by the book and the tasting fee was not waved even though we purchased a few bottles.

Why did you take the popcorn off of your menu? So disappointed. I might have to cancel my membership! Also, I just received an email regarding the pick up party. The times have been moved to 6-9 pm vs. the normal 1-3 pm. This is no bueno. No incentives to stay a member and my last visit was disappointing. I even brought friends that were interested in joining and we didn't feel very welcomed. I love Antonio and he was off when we came. Just not a positive experience overall and now this!

My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting the Wente Vineyards Tasting Lounge, courtesy of an invitation from our son and his girlfriend. The new location, while different from the previous restaurant, offers ample space to unwind, savor excellent wines, and indulge in delightful nibbles. The wine flight we experienced was nothing short of wonderful. We have a penchant for small lot wines, particularly the blends, and Wente Vineyards exceeded our expectations. Each sip was a flavorful journey, a testament to their expertise in crafting remarkable blends. Our experience was elevated by the exceptional service of Diane, our server. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and warmth truly enhanced our time at the lounge. Her recommendations added a delightful touch to our tasting adventure. Needless to say, our enjoyable time here guarantees a return visit. Wente Vineyards Tasting Lounge has become a favorite spot for us, thanks to its inviting ambiance, superb wines, and the stellar hospitality provided by Diane. We can't wait to return for another memorable experience.
