The food was absolutely horrible! The Potato Wrapped Halibut was terrible. The sauce was sickeningly sweet and the fish was terribly bland. Out of the five dishes we had only the Cajun Shrimp Penne Pasta was eatable. The waitress was terribly slow at providing service, even though there were 5 or 6 people standing around doing nothing. No idea where any of these positive reviews come from... Whatever you do don' t go to this restaurant.

Overcooked food, I specified medium but it was made well done. The service was fine though.

My all-time favorite restaurant in Downtown Livermore! The food is absolutely delicious (I highly recommend the cajun shrimp appetizer), and the portion sizes are perfect. I've only been here a few times, but the staff treat me as if I am their best friend. I absolutely love the lively atmosphere at Zephyr, and I highly recommend it!!

My friend and I ended up at Zephyr after Ann from Wente Vineyards recommeded the restaurant b/c they offer $0 corkage fee for up to two bottles of wine purchased from a Livermore Valley winery. This is a great offer if you have that bottle of wine or two you've been wanting to open drink and not cook for the night. It was Saturday eveningpm around 6:30 and the place was full (including the bar) and buzzing with activity. Note, there are a couple of TVs at the bar in case you want to catch the game. The ambiance is welcoming and there were people of all ages dining there; it appears to be a good place for families and/or multi-generational groups. I ordered the short ribs and my friend ordered the sole filets. The portions were large and we both took half of our meal home. The food is well prepared and good; nothing extraordinary but not bad. We started with the crab appetizer and that was also a good portion size for two people to share, but it was lacking a little flavor- in my opinion it needed a little more salt and maybe I should have asked for hot sauce. The crab wasn't the sweet variety which is what I was expecting. Again, not extraordinary but not bad and very nicely presented. Our waitress was very friendly and accomodating as was the bartender; both ladies took great care of us. This is a good place for nice meal and friendly environment.

Ordered Cobb salad. Have had it several times before. Came as a small side salad. Husband picked it up so I didn't see it until he brought it home.

Always delicious, and service is always fast and efficient. We had reservations, but were seated in the side room by ourselves, which was kind of weird and the ambiance was boring...no TVs like in main room.

great happy hour!

We have always enjoyed going to Zephyr. We had brunch;, a California omelette and the Napa Eggs Benedict. Both were very good, although a little more goat cheese would have been better in the omelette. We didn't care for the potatoes, which were cut up french fries. We prefer hash browns or country style potatoes.

Really liked to many options offered on a Saturday including brunch, lunch or a happy hour menu. Food was very good. Only miss was the two salads ordered having no dressing. After it arrived, all was good!

Went for husbands birthday and noted that on reservations. Was acknowledged by host seating us at the table. That was it. We both got the halibut which was our favorite dish in the past. It was not prepared the same and was plated with no color at all (white potato, white cauliflower, and white fish.) Appreciate the no corkage for Livermore wines.
A friend referred us. We had a wonderful experience. Good food, good service. A friendly atmosphere. Glad my friend told me. Not far from Almost Famous Winery for the concert. We definitely will be back.

Been to Zephyr Grill several times in the past 5 years and now a local resident . Our brunch is very good but had much better dining experience in the past . I like my California omelet and companion's burger was good too . Hoping for a better dining experience sometime soon !

Dined at Zephyr for a corporate dinner & they organized our dining area pretty well. We were about 40 of us dining at the restaurant & they set up our tables in a private room and accommodated our last-minute adjustments to the table configurations. Our Server & Bartender were lovely & very welcoming. They had Veggies & Pesto Ranch dip station setup along with Fresh Bread & Warm Artichoke Dip. That Dip was outstanding!Because of the size of our group, we had a preset menu with a choice of soup or salad, a main course & dessert. I got the Butternut Squash soup, Primavera Pasta & Decadent Chocolate Cake. Soup was amazing - perfect for the chilly weather. Pasta was alright - huge portions. What surpised me was the dessert - absolutely phenomenal especially for a flourless cake.Overall a great experience!
