“Gosh, these cookies are so good! My go-to is Lisa's chocolate chip cookie. It's got that nice crispy edge and the chewy center. It's heaven! From time to time, Lisa will also make delicious brown butter cookies. They are occasionally in a jar on the counter. Don't pass up the opportunity to have an Almond Joy cookie. Amazing! Lisa is wonderful, and so talented. Her decorated shortbread cookies are delicious works of art and staff is always busy filling orders for these celebratory and delicious cookies. “We are former Turlockers! We are so happy to hear Red Steer is back. So happy in fact we drove 2 hours with an ice chest to bring back Red Steer to our family who loves this place! “Got a number of pre-sliced cakes to try out. The older woman whom im assuming is either owner or maybe head baker is very knowledgeable and friendly. The younger girl at counter was nice but gave very vague 1-2 word responses. Coffee was not fresh at all but the cakes were all amazing. Fluffy, delicious and light. Ate some of the leftover cake the following day and it was still as fresh as the day we bought it. Hadnt dried out at all. Did not try their cookies or cupcakes so cant speak to how those are. Def worth coming here for a sweet craving or ordering celebration cake.“
“We stopped in recently for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The man who took our order gave us recommendations and was very friendly. They even gave us a complimentary basket of fries while we waited for the rest of our food. The pizza was delicious and I really enjoyed the crust. The garlic cheese breadsticks were really good as well. The prices were very reasonable and the customer service was excellent. We will definitely be back.“
